Oh, before I get ahead of myself, do you think it would be too hard for a couple of 16-18 year olds who are "mechanically inclined", My friends dad(knows alot about trucks/cars and builds them) and a Haynes manual would be able to pull it off?

(I'm guessing this started it?)Ok so this all started(I think) friday on my way home from a party i was goin on I-75 at top speed 93MPH everything was fine until Monday. about 60% of the time when I shift from 2-3, 3 to 4, or 4-5. the car will either do 1 of 3 things. 1. The car shifts normally. 2.The RPMs either stay the same until I let off the gas, push in the clutch and let it out(causing the RPM's to drop) then it is fine. 3. After I switch gears the RPM will continue to go up as if I never switched gears in the 1st place, then after 10 seconds or so they will drop, like they were supposed to the instant I switched gears. So what do you guys think?

So I kinda got screwed over out of getting them, I've PMed a lot of people and posted in alot of peoples parting out threads....I haven't got any replies. So that would be great if any of you would be willing to sell me some working ones. There aren't any JY around here so thats out of the question. And I know they aren't necessary parts, but I like to keep what came on the car, there. Tyler

EGR Solenoid and Purge Control Solenoid? -
Just in case you wanted to see her....She's dirty in the pics and its starting to rain but WTH? Shes got the T.O.D(plan to do timing belts and reseal the oil pump in a few weeks, thanks to my new Haynes manual) and 2 bad solenoids (purge control, and EGR, I need some used ones anyone got them?) It's got 138,000. Oh, and the paint was all done from spray cans.....looks alot better than before.....my granpa and I fixed the rust spots in a ghetto-ish manner. We took sheet metal, cut and fitted it to the piece, and riveted it into place.....but it looks a HELL of a lot better than before....So....What do ya'll think? suggestions?

Hey my CEL is on and says the EGR solenoid is bad....So I looked around and think that it must be this broken one. It is broke because where the line conncts it is broke....So does anyone have one on a parts car or something that I could have for a few dollars? There aren't any JY around here in FL. So heres 2 pics....its the solenoid right by the thermostat on my 93 Loyale SW.

Would anyone of you be able to send me a couple links to the right seals/gaskets etc. that is required to do it? I've been looking on www.thepartsbin.com and I think I have found the "mouse" gasket, but when I look for the oil pump seals, theres like 3 different o-rings? do I need them all? or what? Gasket-- http://oem.thepartsbin.com/parts/thepartsbin/wizard.jsp?year=1993&make=SU&model=LOY-4WD-001&category=A&part=Oil%20Pump%20Gasket&dp=false Seals??-- http://oem.thepartsbin.com/parts/thepartsbin/wizard.jsp?year=1993&make=SU&model=LOY-4WD-001&category=A&part=Oil%20Pump%20Seal&dp=false Thanks

So when you use seafoam through the pcv valve and let the car sit 5 minutes, then start it up.....clouds of white smoke are supposed to come out from the exaust, under the car, and under the hood....right? It seems to work fine and everything... Also, are K&N Filters worth the cost?
