  1. I am new to small engines and am looking for the PCV (does it have one?) on my 2.2L 96 Legacy. If so where?:-\
  2. Thank you for all of your replies and I'll look into all of them. My father in law (Subaru Junky) says I should not worry about it. I'll press on and if I find a solution will let you know. Thank you, Dave
  3. I have a 96 Legacy station wagon 2.2 that has a rough idle only when stopped and in Drive. It purrs like a kitten in Park and does fine everywhere else. I've adjusted the idle screw more than once and checked all electrical connections; it only has 70,000 miles. I noticed when I turn on any electrical device in the car at night that the dash board lights dim a little even when driving. I measured the Volts and it is 14.70 in neutral and 14.20 in drive when parked. I'm new to this type of Subaru issue. Any ideas, thoughts and suggestions would be welcome and I'm sure helpful. Dave
  4. Oops. I forgot to list that too. I removed the airbag and installed it with no problem. It seems to be moving correctly. Any other thoughts. Thank You, Dave
  5. I have a 96 Legacy Breighton automatic and am looking for a complete list of parts to add Cruise Control. I thought I had all the parts but maybe not. The following is what I have installed. 1. Push button switch on dash (lights up when pushed in) 2. Cruise Computer Box (finding the plug was a pain) 3. Cruise actuator pump w/electrical plug (bolted in fine/plugged in too) 4. Vacume tube (installed and connected) 5. Complete cruise cable assembly w/vacume (bolted to fire wall and all connected). Have I missed something like another electrical component?
  6. I found where the cruise control module goes however I have not found the 20 pin plug that goes into it. Where did they hide it. Is it tucked away in the center console area. I did pull the lower plastic foot trim that holds the carpet down and found a bunch of plugs (already connected) but not the cruise plug?
  7. Thank you so very much for that information. My brother will be out in the recycle yard this morning in 0 degree temps getting that component...I suppose I should pay him extra. Dave
  8. Would somebody help me find the Cruise Control Module for a 1996 Legacy Wagon . I found a 96 wagon in the recycle yard but don't know where the module is located. HELP PLEASE?
