Im toying with the idea of putting the power windows and locks from my 1985 GL10 (parts)turbo wagon, into my 1985 RX sedan. What my question is: Are the plugs/wires alredy there?, or will I be grafting sections or the GL10 harness? I know subaru was famous for cost cutting so,this could go either way.

Ok here is you low dollar high quaLITY SOLUTION............... http://www.rockforddriveline.com/Staked_Instructions.htm http://www.rockforddriveline.com/replacem.htm http://www.rockforddriveline.com/New%20Parts%20Page/Staked%20In%20Page.pdf some will tell you it cant be done blabla blaaahhhhhhhhhhhh. This is a simple job. TAKE YOUR TIME!!! Remove the entire shaft and get it to a work bench. PRINT OUT the directions/instructions above. use gentile force/finece. lots of WD40. ALL PARTS. dont beat the hell out of it. if you cant get them out, tale to a shop with a torch/plasma cutter. then clean up/reassemble good luck. p.s. i have the same car. -

WOW, IM VERY IMPRESSED, what a great thread, truely a "how to" guide, and a wealth of information. Question: (1)How much did you trim on your wheel wells? (2)did you use the new dash/and components? Thanks.

Now that sounds like a plannnnnnnnnnnnn. can we get COBCOB,HYRYSC,BLUEBLUE, MELLOW YELLOW and MYKINGCRAB all together at once?, do you realize what this means? my CB may actually serve as something other than a method of annoying truckers that are cruel and offensive. I have a spare someone can use on the trip.
