While inroute to Dothan Al from Plainfield Nj. on I81 exit 257 in Virginia,I stoped for coffee I found a cool guy and his girlfriend with an 86 4WD wagon. This was his lucky day to find US all here on the best SUBARU website on the earth. He had not heard of us before. And I gave him the scoop and asked him to join we will be a great help. he and I dove right into questions that needed answers, so Hope he tunes in . Thanks everyone for making, and keeping this a great family.

xt6 driveshaft/ujoint replacement?
mykingcrab replied to archemitis's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Dont let those stake marks spook ya. just use a strong vise and start driving them out. easy as pie. Just act likethey are not even staked.I already practiced on a rear half that NUG gave me with the RX,and it was pretty easy.Ive got new ones ready for Roxy.and plan on doing them both as soon as i get home. Ill take some good digital photos and document the process. -

EA82 4x140 14x7 factory euro wheels from an XT4:burnout: -
nice job.great video dude, your in subaru central, keep scratching around the junk yards ect.. and find an LSD. and convert it to 3.90-1 its pretty simple and well documented on the sight. it makes a huge differance in being able to make it thru the ruff stuff. ive never driven a welded rear in the street, (feel free to jump in guys) but I guarentee it will alter your roller coaster handling that those cars have. especially in bad road conditions. but it wont say now on the off road side of the spectrum.

Subaru Sambar - UPDATE!
mykingcrab replied to Hodaka Rider's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
There is an identical looking Sambar in Houston Missouri at a dealer for those mini's. he mostly has Suzuki cary's,and Dihatsu's The identical sambar is the dealers personal,He kept it out of a batch.....and refused to sell it. It has a factory supercharger. cute little thing. rear engine,Inline 4 t/v mounted 360 cc.4X4 6 speed manual.rear to front drive, and electric locking rear diff. a/c ect ect...... Belt driven blower is an option on some sambars both on trucks and vans,on some newer models. very rare to find an imported used one here. He claims it will go 100 KM . I believe him, I seen it going down the road it it was cruising good at what looked like 55-60 mph. :burnout: -
