  1. BTW, The bolt pattern is 5x100 right? I'm pretty sure it is, but want to doulble check... Hey scooby, What size wheels are on your legacy?
  2. The hubcaps HAD to go... now, for my question, What size wheels will fit under the fender? Specifically, will a 16x7 wheel fit? If so, what size tires would I need? Thanks,
  3. awesome. Thanks. Looks like I'll be heading to the Junkyard. What year legacy had the standard DIN sized stereo?
  4. Works great. I was skeptical too. I didn't want to scratch the glass but I REALLY wanted the watermarks gone. I tested it out first ( i recomend you do to) on a back window. Once you get them all clean, I also recomend that you use the Mr. Clean autodry system. It keeps all the water stains off. Good luck,
  5. Thanks for the help. How do I tell what I have, though? The 1 or the 1.5? Thanks in advance,
  6. Alright, I tried the search feature, but couldn't find what I was looking for. So, I have the cd player out of my old car, and I want to put it into my legacy. I went to Crutchfield.com to get a "vehicle specific mounting plate" but they didn't have one. All they had was one to mount it under the dash. I want to pull the old stereo and put in mine. Can I do this and still have it look clean? Where could I find the specific plate to mount it? Thanks,
  7. What about making other cars applicatios fit in the Legacys? For instance, there are TONS of honda and acura intakes on ebay for like $30. Could one retro it one of those to a legacy?
  8. I don't know of anybody ever making snorkels for subarus, but is not hard to do yourself (so I hear). BTW, where did you find the lift kit?
  9. Tommorow she'll be driving right past my house. If she needs help (doubt it) in the Couer D'Alene area, give me a jingle. I don't know if I'll be muc help, but who knows... Gotta offer it anyway. If I can't help her, I bet I could find someone who could. My number in 208 457 9857. Like I said, I doubt she will have any problems, but just in case.
  10. Actually Clover Park is in the Lakewood area, which is closer to Tacoma. I'll be living in Gig Harbor. I'll be in Seattle a lot though. A friend of mine is going to Academy of the Arts and he's not taking his car.
  11. Yeah, but in all fairness, I was on since about 10pm (thats sad for a saturday night!). All my buddies went camping, but I had to work.
  12. Hey, I just thought that I would let everyone know that in about a week I'll be moving back to western Washington. I will be attending Clover park technical college for Video editing. Sometime I'd like to meet some other subaru folks. I've only met one person from the board, and he doesnt even post anymore (owns a newer lifter ford pick up). I'll either be replacing my car or fixing it. Either way, I'll probably be asking some more questions. My goal is to have a lifted sube by winter. Well, I guess I'm done with my random posting (not much to do in north Idaho... )
  13. So how hard is it to get up under there and remove/install the axle everytime you go offroading. I KNOW for a fact that if I welded it up and left one in I'd break it immediately. How long does it take too? Thanks again and sorry for the hijack,
  14. Awesome, thanks guys. although I'm not sure if its ACTUALLY a "misprint". I called the guy, and he told me it WAS a 1984. I told him they didnt come out until 85, and he told me tha this was a "prototype". I'm debating on wether or not I'm going to go look at it. thanks again,
  15. Okay, I never really understood this. When you weld the rear diff up, you just have to take the axles off when going off the trail right? Why? Sorry, I'm trying to figure out what I want to do this winter... Thanks,
  16. Well let me be the first to wish you good luck on your projects. I can't answer your question, so I'm not even gonna try. Good luck again,
  17. <Random Post> It's always nice to know that I'm not the only guy up at 2:45 in the morning browsing the board!
  18. I was just wondering b/c i saw an ad today for a 1984 xt. It didnt sound right. Didn't the XT come out in 85 along with all th rest of the EA82 series cars or am I just extremley oblivious? thanks,
  19. Awesome. Obviously you decided to keep it and it was worth enough to you. I hope everything goes smoothly in the coming weeks. Good luck,
  20. Kind of a kijack here, but Zapar, do you have any more pics of the thrid car on the left in this picture...?http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/offroad/august2002/PDC_0149.JPG Thanks,
  21. Would it be possible to mount it so that you could point it forward while just driving, and backward when 4x4'in?
  22. And I was Just over in that area two months ago (Sanford, N.C). The deals I could have had....Someday...:-\
  23. Are you building the lift yourself?
