  1. pm threeeyedbandit, hes welded up two diffs and there hasnt been any probs yet. i think he was saying that he liked the way that an un-welded diff drives in the snow, but as for plain ol' wheelin it just kicks @$$ -mike
  2. my mercury has simular symptoms, pedal in-quiet, pedal out- this hellish wirring/grinding noise. everything is adjusted fine and it has a new throwout bearing but it will still drive(just not in reverse) could be splines or sumpthin inside not meshing right just a guess though -mike

  7. I have drums on all fours. I'd like to do the front at least(for now). I've got some ideas goin' right now. 3" lift, HiPo EA-81, D\R swap, but I want to have goob brakes before all of that.

  9. I've looked around some and was wondering if anyone has done or knows someone that has done a disc brake conversion on a '75 era wagon. I saw the pic of "the Pickle" but it dosen't say anything about the brakes. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanx, Mike

Woke up this morn and got in some snow driving before work and I picked up a spare EA-71 for the bellhousing, clutch, and what not for doing a D/R swap(now I just need the trans) anyhoo can't wait for a sticker, and Adam we have a little something for you and the brat goin' to snow in the morn:headbang: -mike
  11. went by central point auto wreckers today just for fun and they have a '79 wagon runner/driver missing the windshield with a rebuilt engine he said. i started talking to them about it turns out they're using it as a yard car maybe someone could talk them out of it(if anyone wants one)? got my off-road tires today as well anybody know off-hand which pertronix part # fits soobs or are they all the same? - mike
  12. sweet!! hope to get robert on line by then and get a skid plate set up on the '75 maybe some lights too. prolly go and get OHV tag in the morning. Matt want me to pick one up 4 you as well? anyone know a good place to attach a street sign on a '75 to be a quick skid plate?? - mike
