  2. How'd the Evo do compared to the STi? I imagine in the dirt the STi has a better time
  3. pretty sure they will measure the axles and count the splines in the end of the axle. I assume you are going to do a cv axle swap correcT? I imagine 92-96 legacy are all the same size. If you really wanted to know, call a parts store and ask them. I do that to Napa all the time. Just make it sound like your interested in buying from them.
  4. shean I went and bought some pvc end caps (3/4") and then wrapped a lil bit of black tape around the hoses and then threaded the caps on to the end of the hoses for the AIS system (the "exhaust recirc" deal you were talkin about) I bought some caps tonite. Theres some parts on the carb that have hoses but I wasnt sure what the were so I didnt cap them off. can u take a picture of the top of your carb and the front and back views of it for me? Then I can circle the hoses that I didnt take off and see if you did (compare the two carbs)
  5. pull that damn charcoal evap canister off you dont need it
  6. I've been really bad on saying thank you to all the people who've helped me on the board. So: Thank you for all your help!
  7. it all depends.. how does the clutch feel? I've burned the hell out of my clutch on my EA82 and I like the way it feels slightly burned. No one can judge how much life you took off it because they havent driven it before and after. Thats where you come into the picture. Does it still engage at the same spot as you let the pedal out? And does it slip when you are engaging it?
  8. I'm going to plug off all the IM stuff on my car so I'm wondering what size plugs/caps I need to get to cover all the sizes of vacumn lines.. Anyone know whats sizes they are on soobs?
  9. 1 qt in your oil? You must have some thin rump roast oil then 8 oz on with 15w 40 makes it almost too thin
  10. Run some Cheveron Injector cleaner through a tank of gas might help change plugs wires disty cap and coil any time lately?
  11. the bottle says 4 oz /tank I put 8 oz/tank because I'm up here in Alaska and the fuel we get is kinda dirty
  12. Dont think BYB released the EJ lifts yet Should be soon
  13. If you are charging at 18 Volts. Your VR is blown a 12 volt car is a 12 volt car not 18 volt
  14. EA81 drivelines are serviceable You have to cut the + out from the middle of the joint and then pound the caps out If they have zerks in there, they have been replaced before Stock ea81 ujoints dont have zerks in them As for your ujoints they have been "converted" typically the ujoint is staked into the spindle in 3 or 4 spots (like someone ran a punch down the side)
  15. yes you can overcharge your battery and it messes with other things in your car because its charging so high
  16. is that plate that you used premade? or did you have to fab it yourself? I want some extra gauges in my car, and i could never find a good spot. That center console spot is a great idea
  17. Skip, I forgot to mention that I have a DR 5 speed. I'd love the wiring diagram.
  18. you need a 3/16th punch not a 3/8th
  19. I run it in my oil every oil change, every 3 tanks of gas I add it to the fuel And Once a month I pour some in through the carb
  20. First off, I've never looked at a single range push button 4wd closely. Is the push button switch electric, and if so what kind of stuff "could" I use that switch on the stick? Say fog lights?
  21. Rotary RX? What kind of engine?
  22. I started a thread a few days back. The title was EA82 Engine Swap Search for it. Theres a lot of good info in it
