  1. hell yea keep it.... from what I can see in the picture, it doesnt have the soob cancer behind the back tires bottom of 1/4 panel... thats a good tell tale sign about rust. head gaskets aint too bad take it down to oregon and have mudrat lift it for ya.. turn it into a rally wagon...
  2. The weber can pass emmissions tests as long as your state doesnt have a under the hood inspection. Alaska has the stupidest IM.. They were going to fail me because I had a rachet wedged in temp. holding my evap canister in bracket. I "promised him that it was being fixed the next day"

  4. dammit why didnt I think of that 3 days ago when I changed my oil... next time.... I'll loop a chain through the side windows and tow my car on its side..... Passenger side down right?
  5. EA motors dont have a vertical filter man.. We can't prime our filters. And for the engine wear, theres more to worry about leaky seals on the oil pump then from not priming a filter.. it takes about 3 seconds for my EA82 to pressure up after an oil change.

  12. I just talked to my guy at the JY 125 for a brand new 88 bumper 50 for a good used rear 88 bumper
  13. Dang it, those pieces of ****.. I went to go get a quote on front and rear 87-90 wagon bumpers, shifter linkage bushing and the air struts on the back hatch and it came to like 700 some dollars.. Screw the dealers.. I'd pay that kind of money if not more for wrx parts but not a soob thats now 19 years old..

  15. alright, let me clarify what exactly the secondary does? i ts supposed to open at 3/4 throttle and allows more fuel to go into the engine right?
  16. ok, so I eiether need to replace the ****achi with another one or get a weber.... I think I may de-emission a hitachi and use that. cheaper.. heh Anyone have a diagram of the plates that need to be fabbed to block off the ASV ports into the exhaust?
  17. yeah.. I'm kinda thinkin about LSD now cuz of the ice track we have up here.. Right now with my 3.9 rear, I gotta really throw my car into corners or it understeers and does that sideplow ****.. LSD is gonna make it a 2 wheel spinnin wonder in 4wd aint it?
  18. see thats wierd.. it doesnt really matter on mine how fast or hard I take the turn most left turns more then 45 degrees do it
  19. I'm thinking about welding the gears on the rear end.. How is this gonna affect driving on icy paved roads in 4wd? and does anyone have a good pic of where I need to weld on a 3.9 diff?

  21. looks good can u get ahold of stainless steel? (that would be one strong rump roast brace) and did you stick weld or wire feed that?
