we may have to pay a little bit, but it will be hella cheaper than us having to deal with the air frieght. hes gonna talk to his dad about it in the next few days.. I will keep you guys informed

glad to hear you made it.. I was sittin home last night wonderin if I was gonna get a call from ya somewhere between glenallen and tok.. Nice pic of your car.... Damn I wanna go roadtrippin.. -
I sea foamed the carb yesterday and its still doing it.. Weird how yours did it on right handers and mine is doin it on left handers... I'm gonna start with ripping all the emissions **** off my carb and then see how it runs after that..
-
I talked with my roommate and he said that his dad could only do the freight thing if its sent to his Dad himself.. So if we were gonna do that, I could get it to Cordova, Alaska and then have his dad ship it up here to me, and I can bring it down to Anchorage
-
I searched for it and didnt find much.. Anyone done this with a EA82? is it worth doing? And how complicated is it? Is it just the Cap that I need to replace with the 2wd, or with whole disty? Is the power advance noticeable? I gots a hitachi'd EA82

Can you bend me one so I can still put my spare tire under the hood.. I like that one on the 2.5 RS 3 piece design.. hmmm I might have to mess around and see what I can come up with
-
yeah same here.. they shouldnt be more then 40 bucks for nice one..
-
I've ran a few bottles of heet through the engine, a bottle of chevon fuel injection cleaner, changed the fuel filter, new coil, wires and plugs and prolly 10 tanks of gas through it and its still doin that
-
So I posted about a week ago about my car cutting out on corners.. Someone said I need to rebuild my carb cuz the float level is too low.. I drove around like a madman testing my theories and found that my car only cuts out, sputters, hesistates (like water in the gas) on left hand turns... On right handers everything is fine? Is this still the float being too low, or is it something else?

Lol, I keep everything I'd need to live out of my car for a few days... Never know where I'm gonna end up. I was surprised.. I cleaned the whole car out, got back about 2 inches of suspension sag.... eh, time for new shocks and struts..... its a never ending part changing battle sometimes...
-

YES! Alaska Airlines does do cargo out of San Deigo... I'm gonna see my old roommate this weekend so I will talk to him about this.. So about 50 pounds/kit correct?
-
San Deigo eh? I'll see if Alaska has any flights goin down there.. If they do, I may be able to get it shipped Air frieght for really cheap or even Goldstreaked.....
-
Soob motors arent that heavy, but it is definatly easier if you have a lift... Its lining the motor back up thats the hard part of taking it out by hand....
-
I love how everything down in the states gets closed for weather.. its hilarious..
-
the 8140C is a chrome one, 5 bucks more exspensive 8140 is a yellow coil... Both are send 42,000 volt to the disty and your stock subaru one sends 30,000 volts
-
Also, where is the stuff from PK Davis being shipped from? My old roommate's dad works for Alaska Airlines and I'm pretty sure I could get them to ship it for me, and it would be really cheap to do it that way..
