A Happy and Prosperous New Year to all our readers!
The low beam on my 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback are, to say the least a big disappointment. The profile of the beam is part of the problem (some extra light higher and up the kerbside would be welcome) combined with lack of adjustment to the headlight unit (both hi and lo beam are too low even on the top setting on the dashboard control) both conspire to make this car a hazard to drive on unlit roads against oncoming traffic.
I have purchased some extra bright GE bulbs of the same wattage and these seem t make a small improvement. The next step is to see if i can modify the attachments of the headlamp units to the body. Has any body got any other ideas?
