  1. You just kinda adapt it to the lift. Cut it, sleeve it, mark it where it fits, weld it. That would be your best way of going about it.
  2. The all weather package comes stock doesn't it? We put the all weather matts over the carpet ones for sound deadening. Subaru offers the foldable boxes for the rear cargo area. Go to Harbor Freight, get them for much cheaper, way better than the net. Sunshields can be bought and fitted for cheaper than the dealer.
  3. Ya know. . . We had a 2013 that we did the speaker upgrade to. It was seriously louder. But the 2015 Seems pretty decent to me. We have the Starlink, maybe that is why. But there's much more bass and it sounds pretty nice to me. (Drowns the kids out just fine. ) The tweeters are the smaller speakers for high end sounds. I drove a fully loaded 2015 Outback for a loaner, and it had the upgrade plus the subwoofer. It sounded AWESOME!!!! Imagine the other people around me also waiting for the bridge to close, with their windows down, having to listen to Slayer at full volume. . . lol You'll find a pretty big group of XV owners at this forum who might know if the 2015 upgrade is worth it. http://www.subaruxvforum.com/forum/ Might also be worth it to take a peek at the local Stereo Shop type store and ask if they can get aftermarket louder speakers for cheaper.
  4. The only thing out of those on your list that you might get cheaper elsewhere is the Bike Attachment.
  5. Your car will wheel like crap with the torsion bar cranked up. You'll have no travel. That's a bad thing.
  6. What all comes with the exhaust? Emissions and O2 sensors are all still good?
  7. Friends in high places I guess. That's the Higgins car, Olympus Rally winner.
  8. ^^^^ Disregard anything this guy says to you. Ask him about his hatch and his genius in building trailers. Cool stuff in my opinion. Looking forward to vids of it in action.
  9. Welcome. Which transmission? What do you mean by kaput?
  10. Nope. It's the electric motor kicking on, the car restarting and lurching. It was the reason I knew I could never have one when I had one for a loaner. My CVT doesn't have any kind of characteristic like that at all.
  11. I got mine form Amazon. 6 inch bars. They're 3500 lumens each, but only draw 17watts or something. They make great light for wheeling at night. If I had it to do over again I'd get the 14 inch bar that had spot an flood built into it. Mine only flood. They wired right into my factory fogs which are rated for 55w.
  12. Well, only me and Subarutex. lol
  13. ^^ yeah. No, I'm gonna add a little something to it to break up all that yellow and do away with the Stealers thing. Have something pretty cool in the works.
  14. I've never seen this. Too cool. (Nice brakes) lol
  15. Fun vid, thanks for posting. It's a good testament to Subaru and how tough they are. You were giving her hell a few times there.
  16. What's better than 3 XVs in the same parking lot at the same time? Why, 4 of course.
  17. The 11th would be my best chance to get away out of the two Jesse mentioned.
  18. Yeah, Evans is in the middle, kinda. I went down and met up with Subarus years back and played at Browns Camp. Good times, super sticky yucky mud. I got a ticket on the way for not having mud flaps on my hatch back. lol
  19. I think Primitive Racing has springs and spacers for the struts to raise it up a few inches. Then you can fit bigger tires and get a little taller.
  20. I'd dig meeting up with you guys there and leading a group up 197. Late June thru July and early August I'll be able to get away for a weekend.
  21. I drove one of the new Outbacks. Pretty cool, but WAY too many buttons that I had no idea what they were for that were impossible to read or navigate while driving. Drove like a dream though, great bumping sound system. Traffic probably looked at me weird cranking Slayer while waiting for a drawbridge in sunny weather. lol
  22. Just keep some napkins in the glove box for when you get it wet. Water proof it with whatever magic grease you want, condensation still gets inside. Then your magic grease just makes it harder to open up to soak up the water inside.
