My problem with that is that I'll have to order them, no try before you buy type thing. . . (closes eyes, holds nose, jumps in) lol

I went to try to buy some 195/75/14 Cooper Discoverer STTs, and it turns out they're discontiued. They don't make them in 14s anymore. Anybody sitting on a set they don't want? If not, I'm gonna have to find something else for the imp. Don't want anything bigger than a 205/75/14, cuz I want the torque for Rally X.

some pics of my brat an impreza

Let's get to lifting that imp Austin! Grab those GR2s, I'll help you put them on. I have a set of spring compressors. Think maybe I have some tires/wheels lined up for ya. Gimme a call. -
That's what I used, you'd be half way there. 100 bucks is a screamin' deal!
-
The longer strut lets you use a taller tire.

It's still simple for me, I only play in the open class. -
Nothing. I meant to send you the tires like you poasted you wanted, but the kid was due, then born, then. . . You know, it kinda got put on the back burner and I felt bad. . . So, I thought I'd make it right by adding a replica. Cheers EZ

When I buy offroad tires for my rigs, I always buy 5, and I buy 6 when I can. Here's why. 1. Nothing like having a full size spare! 2. If you rotate your spare in from time to time (assuming you only have 1) then you will get 25% more life out of your other tires. . . If you have 2 spares that you rotate in, your tires will last 50% longer. 3. Once you pop a tire, you have to buy that extra one anyways. Then you have a new tire you have to run with worn tires.

Went to the site and asked them to forward the link to the Hatch Patrol's site. Found this lifted legacy, looks kinda photoshopped. . .

I'd really like to see how it's lifted. Who said I like legacys? Why do they gotta be wussy? That 2.2 is no joke. I'm betting that if I can get a 3 inch lift and a D/R in my OBS that it keep up offroad with a lifted ea81 or ea82. With only the Outback struts, it has as much travel as I ever got out of the 9 lifted hatchback/brats I've owned. Independent suspension is just that, so they'd be equal there. Neither will ever win a rock crawling championship. With fuel injection and twice as much torque, an impreza should be pretty formidable. Why not have an offroad Soob that I can still get up to 90 going up hills? Check out the picture, they're pretty close in size so the weight can't be too different. Can you see my point of view?

That's sweet! Could you mail me bigger ones? Thanks. EZ

Roll Call for the wedding
ezapar replied to GLCraig's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
That may change. I got a call this early a.m. from my sister. My Father crashed his motorcycle last night and is in the hospital with several broken bones. It may be up to me to pull "first born son duties" this weekend involving getting his bike out of impound among other things. I'll know tonight for sure. -

Nothing came thru Corky. Try it again please. Or, if you're gonna be in the neighborhood, I'll put them all on cd for ya. I'll make up a cd for Ken, he can get you a copy Rob. I'd post that one I took of you on that dirt mound, but it shows your face and I don't want any punks doctoring it up in photoshop. Email me, I'll send it to ya Rob. They're all pretty big though, so expect a slow download if you're on dial-up like me. lol If you weren't there, please don't send me emails asking for photos. You shoulda been there. -

Whoops, I stand corrected. We thought that was wheeling till we found the "Wall" trail. Made most of the Rubicon seem tame. hehe. That would be the trail that busted my welded diff. lol

Here's one with just the mountain. I originaly took it in 5 megapixel mode, so my original is awesome, even with the smoggy air. It's my current background. -

If you can find Shelton, WA, you can find the Mason Co. Fairgrounds. BTW, we timed it as about 22 seconds from Highway 101.
