  1. Try putting the timing closer to 10 or 12. What kind of gas do you use? If you buy cheapo gas, you get what you pay for.
  2. When me and my girl first met, we added Subaru to our "Slugabug" game while driving around. We ammended it to just the kind of Subarus we owned cuz there's constanly a Subaru in site, we couldn't keep up. There's no less than 6 dealerships within 30 miles of me. . . Even still, it's pretty rare I see gen one Soobs any more. 80-84 wagons are everywhere, I've seen at least one STI every day for the last few weeks.
  3. I've been through it a few times with lift kits via fed ex. Definite Head Bang on Wall Stuff!! Fed ex sux! Way worse than Xmas eve as a kid. :-\
  4. Hehe. One Superswamper costs $147.00. The tires were definitely my most expensive cost. I'll do it again for my next one.
  5. I just found an 83-84 DL 4X wagon that has no reverse. (needs tranny) Fairly straight, red/maroon with tinted windows. Super high miles, said the odo quit at 316k, has tabs till 1/05. . . The guy wants 300 obo. He will call me this weekend to set up a time to meet him early next week.
  6. Where at on the Olympic Pen? My Father has property in Chimacum, we go out there to offroad once or twice a month. I grew up in Quilcene and P. A. Greetings. Eric Zap
  7. Thanks Austin. I needed a group photo to add to my collection. Was indeed a good time. You're always welcome at the cabin.
  8. Whoohoo!! I managed to sell 54 of them. This is gonna be a pretty cool "CHEERS!!" I'll have them back in a week or two. Thanks to all of you who got your money to me on time! I'm gonna have a few extras made that won't be personalized. They'll be available at the Show. EZ (Junkie, you get one too. Someone agreed to pay for you. )
  9. Here's the link for BOW WOW. . . http://www.bowwowseattle.com EZ
  10. Try doing a search. . . Using "sway bar", this is what came up. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/search.php?searchid=4475
  11. LOL That's all I need, more power. . . I do have a rollbar in it. That was me Zefy. We've morphed waaaaaaayyyy beyond the stuff we used to do.
  12. Looking Sweet Jeff!! How about this one?
  13. Here's your bumper mod. He can also do a lift kit. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=11669&highlight=baha+bumper
  14. http://members.dsl-only.net/~sawlid/wcss6/ POW!! Check it out. Nicky kicks rump roast!
  15. I am getting too crazy with it, a little too comfortable. Just about rolled it over backwards Saturday evening climbing up an embankment. No pics to prove. . . (did one of you guys get the photo of the tracks I left?) We had 5 offroad soobs out at the cabin. Hopefuly Matt or Austin got a few shots of the fun, I left my cameras at home this time.
  16. Who needs a 15? Here's how they look on my hatch with 27/9.50s
  17. For once, I have no arguement for you GD. This is your offroader we're talking about, right? Pull it. You probably don't drive it like a street racer, if it's lifted there's no point. It will improve your offroading capabilities by giving you just a little more travel up front. You'll notice a little more body roll around corners, but who cares? It's kinda fun. If you plan to race it or something, it only takes 10 minutes to put it back on. . . Removing it means it can't get caught up on something while you're playing off road. Pull it. (do the before and after by testing your travel to see how far you can go without lifting a tire, you'll gain about 2 inches, which counts!)
  18. Cooper makes a good tire (DIscovery/er?) in a 205/75/14 that should fit with very minimal rubbage.
  19. If I had a dollar for every time someone asked this question. . . Here's how much "body work" that has to be done to make 27/9.50 swampers fit without rubbing. http://community.webshots.com/photo/37919799/107671889qfOUGp Not very much. . . Here's a brat with similar sized tires. Not much cutting involved at all. http://community.webshots.com/photo/37919799/60788563yXAxQr If you do have to do any cutting, just coat exposed metal with rustoleum or something. The biggest problem with rubbing is the floor board behind the wheels in front. You can beat it back without any cutting or anything showing.
  20. And if you're planning on stopping by, you've got today and tomorrow, I'll be gone this weekend. . . GET ON IT!
  21. I've got the perfect one!! You'll love it.
  22. Jeff. Need your email to send you the SVX photo I was sent. Real beauty! EZ
