  1. hehe Second place went to the other teal 4 door L impreza 2.2. He was a second ahead of me after 2 laps.
  2. 27# seemed to be the right pressure. I could tell during the parade lap while it was all muddy that the tires were gonna hook up good. Goodyear Ultra Grips! They don't lie. Did I mention there were 4 full on rally cars, including a WRX? I didn't get the exact count, but I think there were roughly 25 drivers in open. Unofficially, my 1:48 was the fastest time all day. Went there wanting to beat one guy. I could only come close back when I was still driving the RX. Never got better than 6th in open, that guy wins often in his severly weight reduced (not to mention he weighs about a buck 30 and doesn't let anybody ride with him) 2.5 RS with Rally tires. Got him all three laps judging by the look on his face when I told him my times after he smugly told me his best time was a 1:53. I'm gonna bask in this, hoping it will rain for the next one so I can bring my hatch so I won't be expected to win again. Grinning.
  3. I couldn't fully participate in the Evans Creek thing cuz I had to go and do the Rally X. I told you guys I'd been talking a lot of smack, and I needed to back it up. 1rst place Open Class in my little L impreza!!!!!!!! Pulled a 1:48 out of my last lap. Warned 'em.
  4. I take it that's what you wanted to show me. . . I got home late last night and heard your message.
  5. I got your message. I do have the lugnuts you need. I have a full set of 16 you can have. If you haven't found them yet, bring your tires to my house in the a.m. and we can swap them on in my garage. You can leave your 13's here for the weekend if you need. Eric
  6. I'm home. Since you're not leaving till 10:00 or so, I'll give you a call in the morning Jared. Your message said to call you at your Dad's #, so if you don't have your phone, I'll call Tex. I'd like to say "what up" to you guys as you head out. EZ
  7. I've got a prety cool idea how to make a vintage Baha too. Can't tell ya yet, not till I do it. As for the new Baha. . . I hated it at first, but they're slowly growing on me. Not like I'd run out and shell out 20k for one, but I'm getting used to it. Kind of like when they changed the body styles on the camaro and corvette in the 80's. I thought I'd never get used to them either when they were new. Baha needs a dual range and better tires. Wouldn't necessarily be the baddest rump roast ride off road, but would probably be fairly formidable in the Sooby off road world. The plastic crap can be ripped right off and tossed first thing. Maybe "bob" the rear. (and the front too for that matter) 10 years we can pick one up for 3k. . . PK oughtta have the lift perfected by then. Eh, Patrick? LOL
  8. Jared my friend. I'm sorry to say I won't be making the Evans Creek trip after all. There just happens to be a Rally X that weekend, I gotta be there. The first one I missed cuz of my leg, the second was the one just after the Subarubicon, so I was too beat. I bought snow tires last winter with RallyX on my mind. I've talked too much crap about how I'm gonna whip some rump roast to not try to back it up. We'll be home on Friday. You can come by on your way down to the good times at EC and catch the video if you want, just give me a call. btw, your Dad did grab your tire. Sounds juuuuuust like you on the phone. Eric
  9. I know that's the story with Dave at the Lake City strore, he first said 399, but could give them to us for 349. When he saw Ken's hatch and my Bobbed Brat, he said, "How about 299?" When I told him the price he'd given them to us before, he dropped it to 286 for the tan hatch's Weber. Guess it didn't hurt to give him a copy of "Best of" to watch. hehe
  10. Austin The last one I got from Bow Wow was 311.00 after tax. Sounds like a better deal.
  11. Nice site. Shoreline huh? How come we haven't met? Have you seen what your brat would look like lifted. Shoot me an email, would love to show it to ya. From you site, I gather you know Austin, maybe he can drag you over here. Eric chairotsu@earthlink.net
  12. This is for anyone who wants to show up. Bring your ride, have a good time.
  13. Depends on weather and how many, you're right. Thinkin' it might be a pretty busy place, campground might fill up quick. . . Fingers are only good if it's not windy and rainin. Cool place though, Mars is gonna be suer close.
  14. Where do you all plan on setting up tents on Friday night? Campground or elsewhere? I like the fingers above 311, the far right one.
  15. Sounds like a cool chick. Glad you guys get to come along. More the merrier. Sooooomebody will have room for you for a ride or two. and btw. . . The first time I ever went thru EC was with a group of 5 stock Subarus. Never can tell what you can pull off in one. Eric
  16. You guys are tied together at the hip or something? Tell her you'll see her next weekend. If the car is hers, ride with one of us.
  17. I'll lend ya the garage, tools and my time helping if it will get you there Mike. Can't need anything more than a couple of hours could fix. You know you could use the time in the woods. EZ
