WCSS16 - 8.16.14 - Pt. Townsend, WA
ezapar replied to Subarutex's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Bring it!! -
I'll aim to collect cash when they're all done and ready to ship. Will respond to your pms then as a group.

Would love to tackle that place in my new car, but the wife works on the 26th, I'll be home with kids. I only get one Saturday a month. . .
-
Just a quick note. I'm almost done recording the rubicon dvds, will get to work on the second one today. I have an old fashion recorder, it only records at speed, so it takes a while like stated above. cheers
-
Bent strut argument deleted. sue me. It's been a while, why not? I'll sell 10 copies to the first 10 folks who pm me. I'll give you my paypal addy, we'll go from there. No paypal? Sorry, money orders are so last decade. 15 bucks shipped. This will include an hour's worth of Rubicon footage plus an hour of filler stuff. (Wheeling vids sent to me, plus some rally x and stuff.) I'll also throw in the "Best of the Hatch Patrol" vid that's about 2 hours long too. 2 dvds is what you'll get. It'll take me a while to burn that many copies the old fashion way I have to do it. I'll ship them all at once.

I avoid the deep water. Had my fill, pardon the pun. I stick to trails now. I try to keep it wheel side down, but like Mick said, it could be a danger in a roll over. Good tight seat belts?

Brain's pretty odd. lol

So uh. . . Any progress? poke poke Something to look forward to. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/uploads/gallery/album_137/gallery_142_137_1360569757_3680.jpg

It does REALLY make sense. That thread was 50 pages long. I figured that you guys would up and post a pics thread like we often do after going out and playing as a group. Turns out it turned out like that.
-
Dec 012 is when this thread got started. . . I'm so ready for you to kick my rump roast on the trails.
-
Are any of you leaving from West Seattle? I don't have it completely worked out, but if I go, I'll take the Southworth Ferry out of Fauntleroy.

Have a question about the Crosstrek? Ask an owner!
ezapar replied to subeman90's topic in Crosstrek "XV"
What a bummer. I drove mine 30 miles in the snow last night at 60 mph with no problems. It handled like a dream. I didn't even have the snow tires on. -
Breakerbreakeronenine.

What Miles said, neither of the outlets nor the USB will work without the key. (though there are no ashtrays, they are just DC outlets, one below the radio, one in the center console.) But the OP is right, they do not charge the iPhone 5. I've seen this mentioned on the XV forums too. It does charge and communicate with my iPod touch 4.

You might take that back if you ever went out there to look at that climb in person. That is a MUCH steeper hill than it looks in the video. The fact that that heep made it up with no lockers is pretty amazing.
-
Ya know, every video I see of that rocky hill is of guys failing while beating their junk. I love my junk too much to beat it on slippery big rump roast rock climbs. lol Here's a same color heep, same size lift, same exact tires as mine. You can pretend it's me. lol I might join you guys if the weather's good. That way I can just head to the cabin for the night. It's just up the street. If so, you and Brain are welcome to come with.

Thread fixed.

Actually, Tahooya is even farther, across the water from Seattle. This is me trying to talk myself into joining you guys, but that place is pretty boring for the likes of my car. . . The last time I went there I left thinking I traveled way too far for very little actual wheeling. . .
-
I sold mine to a guy with a turbo Haha in the first week of owning the XV. Good luck.
-
The football season has kept me out of the woods. lol. BIg parties at my house every weekend.
-
I'm ready. Good to see progress, looking forward to that "pucker" look on your face as you finally get to wheel it thru some crazy shiz.
-
So say we all.
-
"More cow bells!" I mean switches! lol Cool shtuff.
-
Tahuya doesn't really have any Jeep trails. There's a gnarly rock hill climb, but the rest of it's pretty mellow. A good place to break in your Subie. Be careful in the mud hole not to swamp your stuff. A cool simple way to get thru the water hole is to wrap a red rag around the end of your air intake. This will stop the water once. Have fun.

I watched that movie again the other day. Mass of those vehicles don't even have suspension.
