The photo is just with them mounted to see them. I already pulled them back off, will put them on for the winter on Nov. 1. They are 16s, got a screamin' deal from discounttiredirect.com

You gotta get on the trail to get stuck to need that pretty little thing!!! But seriously. Harbor Freight sells a cheap little deally that you can plug into your winch and have it be remote via a key fob. Cool stuff.

Hmm. I'm about to hit 4100, am due for the first oil change and the like from the dealership at 4500. Haven't bothered to check, figure that's warranteed. -

I'm positive the XV will do 120 without batting an eye. I've never gone beyond 110, but am sure it would do that. I'm pretty sure it would beat a 2.2 5 speed imp in a straight line too. The speed is deceiving, it's got more poop than it feels like. 148lb of torque ain't bad coupled with the 4.44.

It's easier than you think, and it's nice when that damn noise is gone. I mean come on, it's only 3 steps. -
If you off road a stock 97 outback, you aren't really wheeling. truth. this: It can be argued that a super well built Subaru can go where a locked solid axle rig can go. I would say this. Maybe, but probably not. And the solid axle rig can do it slowly and gently when needed, rather than having to mash the pedal and hope for the best.

Ken, Zap, whoever. lol Thanks for posting that. I hope there's video of me going around that tree that everybody got caught up on. . . I talked a lot of smack to the jeep guys about how to do it, I felt a lot of pressure to get it right the first time. Nailed it.
