LOL If my front axle is pushing snow, your loyale will be done for. This snow was about 3 feet deep here. Can't say as I've met a Subaru that could get to the spot I took this photo from.

Emergencey: Stolen Legacy Seattle!
ezapar replied to Ratty2Austin's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Well, it was Ken's kid, but no matter. The impreza I sold to my buddy was stolen over the summer though. They seem to be used as joy rides. My old wagon was fund 4 blocks away, untouched. I so hope you get yoru tools when it comes bac to you Austin. Will keep a look out. I just put an alarm on my new imp yesterday. Resting a little easier. -

MOVING TO SEATTLE! Looking for work / lodging!

Have you ever been to Spokane? It makes Puyallup look glamorous. lol What a dump. Andy. I don't have space to put you up more than a day or two here and there, but can loan my garage from time to time when you need it. -
The corner and side clears are easy and cheap to find. The clear tails are not cheap and have to come form Japan usually... The blue one will get all clears, but needs struts first to make me happy.

I can find no rust on either of them. Blue Ridge Pearl sir.

Just picked up my 7th impreza, which happens to be my 50th Subaru. Traded in an 04 OBS (#49) so I could have what I really want, a 2000 RS Sedan. It's all stock still, 138k on the odo. But it's JUST had head gastkets, timing belts, and a new clutch. Drives like it too! Smooth as butter, purrrr. . . I am in love. I've driven MUCH MUCH MUCH faster cars, but I feel best behind the wheel of one of these things. Been driving a GC impreza for just over 10 years now. Hooked. My last imp was a 99 L made to look like an RS. The wife drives it now, still only has just over 92k on the odo. Truth is, it handles better with the suspension set up like I have it. But soon enough, the new one will be as tight. Hiz and Herz. Just after I got the blue one home, before I snagged my good tires. Note the sweet JDM projectors on the L. Cost a pretty penny, but cool factor 10.

I'm so hoping you guys got pics of me going thru what Jeff called "100 yards of hell" or something like that. Put the worst scrape on my truck since owning it for 10 years. But the idea that I made it thru that stretch without help makes me pretty proud of my little Toy. Good fun, lotsa rain. I only have a group photo from GI Joes, and a couple of the Samarai we watched go over.

I am jealous. Can't wait to get up in the snow.

Come on up and ride along with me old man. Come up Saturday evening and stay the night. Eh?

I'm cleared with the wife for the day. Plan on making it. Looking forward to a muddy, possibly slightly snowy run.

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, but also don't see why it would be necessary. For the most part, you can fill it, drive it to the ORV Park, wheel it all day, and then usually drive home on the same tank. Me, I was always trying to lose weight in my Soobie wheelers, power to weight, stress on the axles and the like. I usually tried to run them with about a half a tank or less to save as many pounds of cargo as possible.

I'm in on the condition Ken gets his clutch in so I'll have someone to wheel with while you guys fix your broke stuff. :-p

Wow! That is cool, very well done! Some mudflaps will save you most of the grief the cops might wanna give you.
