No really though. I'll buy another if you'll apply it. Wagon will be for sale in about a week. . .

Ok, lobbiers against the black. Too late. :-p

205/70/15 is an outback tire size, not 205/75/15. (wink) 185/70/14 is the stock size. No 75s Ken. Yes, those tires (205 75 r 14) will rub on your struts. Know from experience, ask Andy about the legacy I scored him for his friend in Spovegas. A 205 is much wider than the stock 185, and will not have clearance unless you have wheels that really stick out.

Holy Cow. I swapped the new struts and RS springs in and yikes. sexy. Few more little touches left still. . .

Alright, looks like the sedan is mine due to circumstances beyond my control. The wagon will get sold. . . I'll take money from the wagon's sale and do up the sedan a little. But for now, here it is these days.

That's fair. The first one was a learning experience. Some 19 or so lifts installed later, it's a walk in the park. After 3 or 4, PK quit wasting paper and stopped sending directions.

When we first fired up the USMB, bigger tires woulda had every member commenting and raving. When we lifted that first one, the place went nuts. When we gathered the first group of them together, the place really hit the roof. (wait, that was pretty much pre-internet) Once the off road forum has seen pics like the one below, a set of balding tires crammed under a stock mobile isn't all that gnarly. Lift it, show it stuck in a big mud hole or hanging off a rocky ledge. . . They'll love it. Welcome.

Naw, this one can stay mostly stock looking, and yes, we can get those things here. I just want it to ride more like a sports car and less like a jalopy. In her defense, the first accident wasn't her fault. . .

It'll get new gr2s and RS springs and the 20mm rear sway from the wrecked one. THen, once it rides a little better, I won't mind driving it. I'm so accustomed to driving mine that hers feels like a Caddy with its stock suspension. I don't know how anybody could drive an impreza with all that roll. . . Update though. She got in a fender bender and made my front bumper look not so nice while in a parking lot last night. I just might take the new one for my own. I'm just barely pissed. or a lot pissed.

Wife wrecked the OBS a couple of weeks ago. (she's fine) After a brief fight with the insurance co, we got the $ amount we were after. Took that money and 500 more and found the new one. Man am I happy about it! 70k original miles, it's a 99 and a 5 speed. And it's the right color and everything. Totally cherry. We had to drive 150 miles to go get it, but it was so worth it. Needs struts and a stereo. No biggie. (and yeah, it has rear shoulder belts. Thanks for chiming into my other thread)

^^ You're a BSG fan? I don't understand FTL. It stands for Faster than Light (Drive) as far as I know. Cars look great with black wheels. Couldn't care less if you think "for the loss" even though that doesn't really make sense either, though I've seen plenty of folks post it about stuff. Loss/lose to what? What do you mean? What/who wins, your opinion? The opinions stated in polls you've seen posted? I don't get it. But you say if I polish the lips it'll be ok with you? Lemme know if you change your mind. Found and OBS being parted out. The price was right, couldn't not buy it. Merry Xmas to me.

Nice pics guys. That last one is me trying to pull Jesse up the hill. My favorits pic that I took. Can you tell we were having a good time? (Keep in mind, Bill is 6'6, that's a TALL car!) 20 rigs in all, here's most of them. -
Finally had a reason to play with my big giant rc jeep. It was funner a couple of nights before when the powdery snow was new adn deeper. The sucker was pushing thru drifts as deep as its tires.

I'll be up there in the Toy this year, the snow should be pretty deep. I'll be the recovery team. Or need to be recovered, who knows? The lowered imp is only fun when the ruts aren't so deep. -
