It was a dark and stormy night. . . Well it was night anyways. My hatch started making horrendous clunking noises from the drivers front wheel area. This was as I was leaving Evans Creek on a Saturday. Means no businesses open for a good long while. So Qman followed me to a lighted car wash and we changed the axle. Not the problem. I drove it at 25 mph for about 50 miles. It was clunking and grinding the whole way. I was holding on TIGHT to the wheel the whole time worried it would break right off or something. It wsa a very long and unnerving drive, let me tell you that. Made it to a buddy's house in the CD and bummed a ride home. The end.

'Don't drink, don't smoke, what do you do?' What tunnel noise?

How you can tell how long ago that first pic was taken? Besides the fact that Ken is all grey now? I took photo that with a "film" camera and scanned the pic onto my computer. Must be 8 or 9 years ago.

Just get a really loud stereo to drown out all the racket.

Ken says no Subarus are gonna make it thru the entrance to 311 out of the main parking lot. Says they'd be better off with upper 311. yikes. He says I'll most likely have to winch to get my Toy thru it. I plan to prove him wrong. Anybody else gonna pipe up before even seeing what Ken's talking about? hehe

This is gonna be cool Scott. A month should be pllenty of time to shake out the bugs before EC.

Pics of cars parked in the yard have no business in this thread. . . More pics, less babble.

I really don't care for red Subarus, ask around. But yours looks really nice. Those pugs painted white are stupendous. Good job man. To answer your pm: 4 inches in the front, 3 in the rear. My tires are 27/9.50s. The Scooby has the same tires on his 2 inch lifted GL wagon, so you should be able to use them too. http://www.4wheelparts.com tends to stock them.

Yes, the first hill is really steep. But then again, I haven't been there in probably 7 or 8 years.

Glad you guys got it figured out. Please take the rest of the conversation to pms.

I don't remember making any sacrifices till we had kids. We were together 9 years before that. Consessions? maybe. Congrats Shawn.

Ok. . . I'm stoked to see what happens.

You're gonna love it! My buddy has an 07 limited.

Bummer Craig. Good luck with the surgery.

That's ok. AA's front half of their lift kit was a blatant copy of PK's kit. . .

I'm hoping to take it home tonight. It should be good and ready by then. Party party.

Sorry about the links and the like. Next time I have a couple of extra hours, I'll see what I can do to update the sticky. Till then, I'll let it drop so I won't confuse or upset you. Cheap easy lift? Adjust your suspension up. It will give you an inch or two of lift. Want taller? Then it won't be easy or cheap. Fabbing your own lift is hardly easy. Installing your first lift won't be easy. But after you're done, you'll think it was worth it. http://www.SJRlift.com <---try that link.

Kinda what I figured. . . Thanks Noah, I'll keep that in mind. I'm hoping to need it for a second project that's coming up. A cabin mobile.
