  1. A couple of maps added on post #2, page 1. I found most of my pics from last meet. A few other Soobs at Evans Creek pics. I'll scan and add them in time.
  2. Sure, why not have a show in shine right before we all head home. It's an off road vehicle park we're meeting at. So no. I'm not planning any "activities" to please anybody who doesn't want to wheel and camp and dig on Soobs and that aren't afraid to get a little dirt on them. Go to a car show if you want to be entertained. Otherwise, show up, park your ride, and ride with someone else.
  3. I love my youta very much. Here it is with about a yard and a half or wet top soil. Sags, but hauls it like nothing doing.
  4. The VLSD chunk is a little more compact than the other. This old thread is proof the search button works. Awesome to see folks using it.
  5. I have black with white lettering, yellow with green lettering, and white with yellow/green lettering. Real deal. They're all over the city of Seattle now.
  6. I dig it, and my wife thinks it's ok. There are far worse things when it comes to offensive. You should see the shirt I wore today, it has the Fword on it like 10 times. It says it about the mayor, the city council, starbucks, the governor, clay bennet, Oklahoma, etc. . . A cartoon girl on a soobie logo is like sesame street in comparison. One of the ones I'm getting is going to a chick bartender at a bar I go to. "You won't let your kids listen to this *******, but you take them to the theater to watch Swarzteneger"
  7. So how'd the seat swap go? Do they sit high, or do you have good head room still? Got any pics? I'm glad to see you'll be able to keep it alive. Another option is to find a wrecked one on craigslist or something and swap the motor.
  8. Me and Tom are probably just as happy as Shean. lol Now he'll get some work done. Having the frustration behind you feels good eh?
  9. I'm pretty sure the gravel roads he's talking about are not the same ones we used to be able to wheel Jared. There were some pretty gnarly trails, but it did all get closed down. What he's driving on could hardly be called "wheeling" I think.
  10. Of course Jeff. I had to name it something I guess. . . So I went with what we called it the first time. Let's get the most lifted soobs in a single pic ever! You rock Scott!
  11. FNA! I'm probably almost as happy as you are Shean. Thanks Dave for the help.
  12. Looks like it will be August 21,22,23 at Evans Creek ORV Park. Something to do instead of/or as well as the WCSS this year for the off road folks/old school folks. There is a full on camp ground on the premises. Although the access involves a 7 mile dirt road, anything and everything should be capable of making it up as far as the campground. Edrach and his wife brought their Toyota based camper last time. ***edit*** It would be cool if you guys did NOT post this on 4X boards. If a few other rigs show up with Soobie folk, that's cool. I don't want this to turn into a competition, I want this to be a Subaru thing. ***edit*** More details to follow. 13. The 4th doesn't look good for me. . . Nao will be in school then, so I won't be able to get away for a weekend. The shindig I want to have will be somewhere in early/mid August when she gets a break between quarters. I'm leaning towards Evans Creek again, as there's central camping and lots of different trails with different ratings. It's also more southern, so our Oregonian brothers can meet our North Washington brothers somewhere kinda in the middle. . .
  14. It could be a month apart to give extra time to anybody who wants to attend both. When the WCSS meet is anounced we can work around it.
  15. Soooo. . . What if I was to organize an old school Subaru Meet type thing to be an alternative. . ? Kinda like the meet we had at Evans Creek a few years back. Daytime fun and meet and greet type thing, and the opportunity to to camp out over night if wanted. Mid/lated July to Early AUgust as a time frame?
  16. Good to see you out there getting it done. One of these SAS mobiles is definitely in my future.
  17. Just what the title says. ONE or TWO action shots per person, pic your favorite. It can be oen of your rig, or a pic you took. PAVEMENT NOT ALLOWED!!! A short story about the situation would be cool too. I'll delete conversation and commnets. I'll start. This is one of the first times we ever went thru Walker Valley. There was a bypass around it, but Ken had to try. He made it in and to the end, but there was a big log keeping him from going all of the way thru. No damage to the car, but the water mark was up on the back window. His car had a 4 inch lift and 29s. . .
  18. Hey

See your tcoupe for sale thread in the Classified's section.

  19. You took those words directly out of my mouth. I can't agree with you more. I'm almost done building my newest hatch. It'll hardly see any wheeling at all. Total conversation piece. My toy's an 85 shortbox. EFI. Love love love love love it.
