  1. Pointless. You only get one if you show up to the Show in a Subaru. BTW, we've had the word out for almost 7 months that there was going to be a Show in August. Not to mention, this is the 8th annual one.
  2. bump. *****UPDATE******* Plan on leaving Northgate Mall at 10:00 a.m. We can meet at the Toys 'R' Us at the South End of the Mall. There is an onramp to the Southbound Express Lanes right near there. We'll drop into the Texaco/Jack in the Box just off of the Interurban Exit in Tukwilla to grab more folks. Plan on leaving there at @ 10:45ish. ___________________________ List: ___________________________ Me +2 RoundtheBend Tex +1 Yukon Art +6 LaureltheQueen +1 86ruguy Syphon Sparkster054 Superrallyroo Noah Galen ***************************************** Although I'll be in a hell bent rush to get to the fairgrounds to get things set up, those of you who want to can break off of the caravan to stop in for some free food and drink at Audio Integrations' Shop near the border. Link to stop for munchies on Friday's trip to WCSS8
  3. Are 90-91 different? I have one from a 90. Yours for free. You can get it from me on the way down. Or. . . Do you still work at the same place? Thats' pretty close to me, I can drop it off there for you. Whatever.
  4. Again, where do you come up with this stuff? 205 is how wide the tire is. 75 is the height of the tire, wheel to top or bottom, or 75% of 205. 75 has nothing to do with the width. You gotta stop this stuff or change your name to general disinformation.
  5. Have you ever watched the subarubicon video? Did you see how many axles I got on video as they broke? Did you notice that none of the time the vehicles in the video were moving over 2 miles per hour? Where do you get this stuff?
  6. Yeah, we can wait till a week or so before the show to set the spots and times in stone. The Interurban exit is a good place to meet the somewhat South folks. There's a Jack in the Box and Shell we could call the spot. Anybody have any recommendations for a Tacoma area spot so we can meet the really South people?
  7. Whoohoo! Just got a call from my wife, she's got Sunday off, I can actually get something done/started.
  8. That green is my favorite Subaru color too. I'd like to mate the 2.2 to a 5 speed dual range. It already has one in it. I'm most likely going to try to sell the AWD AT tranny from the legacy to help finance it.
  9. I can't even touch it till next month. . . Wife works these next two weekends, leaving me only one weekend to get the cars I'm bringing ready for the Show. There still just might be some secretmobiling going on, who knows? Only the Show will tell what kind of fiddling I've been doing to my imp. I'll get it running though Shawn. Driving it before Xmas would be cool in my book.
  10. Can't you let your oldest and Ken's boy drive one. lol My Mom's got a lead foot in her new RV. Try and keep up. Shawn will have at least some company, it's a VW chassis.
  11. I don't know, but I doubt it. I re-learned at the Rubicon that really hate the desert. My only wheeling buddy these days will be shotgun with me, he'll probably want to. Ya know, I'm not sure which clutch or flywheel I'll be using.
  12. Ok, but that's the last question I'm gonna answer for free to anybody who's been at a WCSS before. After this, 10 bucks per question, pm me where to send pay pal. Like the last 2 years. 10 dollars per night per tent/car. 15 dollars per night per R/V.
  13. More like 3 or 4 inches. I need to be able to drive it to Utah when it's done. It will be a daily driver after that.
  14. Gotcha. The body's yours after I pull some stuff.
  15. Free rocks! Wootage! lol Mudrat ran the rubicon with the 2.2 AT into the nissan t-case.
  16. No man, I'm gonna put the 2.2 into the green wagon in the picture. The legacy is the donor. I'm hoping to sell the tranny and a couple of other parts to finance the deal. Hoping to be as close to free as possible all said and done. Then I'm gonna give it to an old buddy of mine who needs a car. The legacy is a sedan.
  17. Cool. Scoobyclimbs is also a local to the Hood River area. He has been working the last couple of months to get a trail run together. ie: scout and pick a route and map it up and lead the group. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=59379 Feel free to contact him with your suggestions. This is his gig.
  18. 2.2 offroad 84 wagon. . . The legacy is good and munched in the rear, hence the "free" part.
  19. What does 1+1 equal? 2.2!! I grabbed up Matt's pickle wagon. (THANKS MASS TO TEX FOR HAULING IT FOR ME!!!!!!!) The name will change soon. lol While working out getting it here last week, I was approched on another board and asked if I wanted a free legacy. Uh. . . OK. Got it here last night, managed to drive it most of the way, but one of the radiator hoses came off so we pulled it the rest of the way with my Toy. Whoever had it before the guy who gave it to me cut the radiator hoses to remove the radiator. So we kinda jimmied it in there. Got hot, shut it off. Why is this in the Off Road? Cuz for the first time in some time, I'm gonna let you guys in on my project as it progresses. I'll add to this thread as I go. I expect to get it on the road in the next 90 days. I don't have near as much time to work on it as I used to with an 18 month old running around demanding my attention. So no crying about me having a secretmobile this time. lol I know it pisses some of you off to not know for some reason.
  20. cb's? lol This is the modern age pal, we got cell phones.
  21. Thanks Ed for the sweet photos of my car. I'm feeling pretty guilty for not pulling my camera out and getting some of you to pay you back. . . :-\
  22. I put up a thread over there, about two people replied before it dropped off. . . Feel free to invite whoever you like. ('xcept that one guy)
