ezapar replied to edrach's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
My car loves mud! I'm psyched to see how mine and Ken's cars do against eachother in the muddy conditions. -
NOTE. This is not an ordering thread, Richie will take care of that on his time.

West Coast Subaru Show #8 Hat thread

I think you need to get off the internet and get out the yellow pages. Still can't beat them. Call 3 or 4 shops, get quotes. . . It's not that hard. I'll be picking up the t-shirts today. I got to see them, and uh. . . WOW!! very cool stuff. -
She hasn't driven it yet. Everything's new(ish) on it. Full 60k, and it's only got 84k. She would be the third owner, second bought it from Carter used in 98. I told her we can take the seats out of her car and swap them into the new one so it'll feel the same. Weee bit of a rough idle, but I'll iron it out.

WRX sways bolt right on Craig. I've put 20s on both of ours. It looks like there's a 17 mm on there right now. It's a huge difference when you upgrade to the 20. I've tried the 13, 17, and 20 on my wagon. More rump roast happy the better for rally x.

Actually, the muffler it has on it is crap, it sounds terrible. Should sound just fine by the weekend.

It's encouraging to see so many of you from way South so excited about the show. Wish other groups would get a little more psyched up. -
Andy. Contact Aaron's Auto Wrecking here in Seattle. 1-800-541-7271. They're a Soob only J/Y. Ask for Tom or Lenny. Tell 'em who told you to call and where you heard about it. Might help with the price and shipping time. They ship btw. It'll be the right part, don't jimmy rig your imp. EZ

I took a trip with my wife and boy up to Vancouver, B.C. this last weekend. Saturday a.m. on the way up, I spotted Scott's wagon and uncoolperson's? red hatch heading the other way on I-5. At the border crossing on the way back, I noticed a red ea 81 wagon in the row next to me a ways back. A minute later, there was Galen carfreak walking up to say hi. He and his buddy's were cool enough to let us cut into their line to try to speed up our wait, it was pretty hot and the boy was trying to sleep. I half thought you guys might catch us, but I was making pretty good time and the trafic was pretty thick. Anyways, good to see you guys. Go Soobarus!

Stuff we'll have going on that we haven't worked out the details enough to add to the website. . . http://www.westcoastsubarushow.com/ Saturday after the Show and Shine w there will be a "locally guided" run thru the woods nearby. We'll have maps ready for everyone beforehand. If you have one, bring your 2 way radio, if not go buy one, it will come in handy. This will include some-what tame trails that will allow everyone who doesn't mind taking their car off road to participate. There will be hill climbs and other fun stuff for bigger more extreme rigs along the way. ------------------------------------ Sunday we're proud to announce that Paul Eklund will be running his "Primitive Racing" Rally Cross School on site at the fairgrounds. We're not exactly sure of the format or prices yet, but wanna let you know just the same. ---------------------------- And of course we'll have the mudpit area in the horse corral in full swing again. Bring your mudders!!

wink wink. We're on it.

Can any of you tell me the part# for the ej dual range tranny? If so, I may have a connection. or 2. Just the part #. . .
-
Check your motor mounts and tranny mounts. Faulty ones are BIG contributers to boot death and axle stress. Erither that or let off the gas a little. The red arrows point to the "pitch rod" or "engine stabilizer".

Are the Super Swampers included? j/k I've seen Albi's, it looks pretty sharp in person.

Hey OBw/beer. I replied to your post on the OB.org forum, lemme know what you think. I'll keep it hush hush here till you tell me one way or another.
