Look man. It has to with a trade of favors. Subiesport gets the exclusive and covers us as a trade for advertisement and vendor's booth. Has noting to do with being open minded.

I contacted 4 wheel magazine a couple years ago. Told them we'd be taking some soobs thru the Rubicon, asked them if they'd do an article. They said no, because their advertisers aim at big rigs only. (not even samurais or toyotas) They told me they'd put us in their news section with a couple of small photos after we came back from the Rubicon. I didn't follow thru because of the flack we caught on the pirate board. Subiesport mag will be at the WCSS photograghing, preparing to put us in their mag. They are a sponsor of sorts, so I wouldn't welcome another automobile magazine, including 4wheel or Offroad mag.

The mud was worth the drive to Oregon. That noise that the XT makes is still in my head. 6000 rpms, and it screams!! More than one person said it sounds like a Porsche. Not a bad comment if ya ask me. Here we are at Rallitek doing some last minute dialing in. Got it good and muddy. But my personal favorite was this one! -

Hey G. . . You workin on those blasses yet? We're talking 60 days man, 60 days. . . -
This time there's an actual building set aside for a swap meet. Not just a corner on the grass. lol

Tarps will let water bleed thru and will not protect the plywood. Tar paper will go on about as fast, will keep the plywood dry, and will be much easier to keep from blowing off in the wind. Besides, the paper has to go on before the roofing anyways, why not just put it on?

Let's hope so. I'll be there in the after noon Ed, hope to see ya there. EZ -
I like that idea, I have a bunch of stuff on mini DV. Jibs, we should talk about organizing some collaboration at WCSS. Hunt me down when you get there .

Make sure you beat back the the inner fender wall with a bfh to keep the new springs and struts from rubbing. Hint. Attaching the tops of the struts to the car and then the wheel hub to the strut is 100 times as easy as the opposite.

Not sure how fast I was goin', but I saw 4 grand in 5th gear as I merged onto the freeway from the on ramp. That was after stopping to a dead stop first. Gets up pretty quick. Nice and noisy at 6000 rpms!!! -
Suberb. They are the last place on earth you wanna take your Subaru to get fixed. Not nice people, not honest people. If ya think so, you already got swindled and didn't even know it.

EA82 LSD rear diff conversion

Here's the write up that Mick put together in the repair/mod section. Pics even. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/article.php?a=36 I should add a link in the FAQ. . . -
If you put the tar paper up, it will hold off the rain for a year. It will definitely buy us time to get over there. Just put it on straight. GImme a call, I'll do what I can.

Very pretty noise out of the rear, all eyes will be on it when it hits the track. I would be the co-driver, lucky me indeed! It'll look much better with mudders on it, trust me. Supposed to rain this weekend in Hilsboro eh? Next pics of it will be muddy ones! -
I'm gonna be out of town that whole weekend. YOu pick a weekday that's not the 16th or 26th, I'm your man.

If you wanna come up Thursday, you'll have to grab a Hotel. There's a HUGE casino/hotel just a couple miles away. We won't be allowed onto the fairgrounds till Friday. Everyone has to be gone Sunday night. They're a little more strict about that than Hood River. . . -
Not sure how I missed this thread, or how you missed the couple of impreza lift threads that are floating around, but here's a photo of mine with Outback struts and Springs on it.
-
Those wheels are sweet! Lookin nice man, lookin nice. . .
-
Already been introduced. Got to meet my other friend the Sawzall too. There's no rubbing at all, lock to lock, or at full (lol) flex.
-
If the lift kit becomes available, I'll add that too.
-
OK, here's with the addition of Outback springs to go with the Outback struts. And here's what the rear looks like now. Approx. 12 inhes under the rear diff, but the angles on the axles are totally tollerable.
