  1. Well, what do you want for it? Would it be worth my super-long drive?
  2. I guess I'll have to be the first! I really like the look of those things. But I would like the look more with some 29" mini-Swampers!
  3. Well I appreciate you sharing your vast knowledge, grossgary, because I've been checking out some XT6s to buy, but I really want to use it for off-road as well as on-road. I had no idea of the differences between the cars. Someone should make lifts for those things.
  4. Come on people, I know it's been done...I need your help...the car will be gone soon...
  5. Yeah, you might look into that. It seems feasible. Plus, how is it yours if it was "takken without asking"?
  6. Tell them you won't sue them for $2 million if they give you a new STI (and an Outback for the emotional damages).
  7. Bedliner. Durabak--comes in 16 wonderful colors, prevents rust an can be applied anywhere. durabak.com
  8. That's probably a good bet. Cash always talks. By the way, was this sedan an SUS? (Or did they call them "Outback Sedans" in '99?) What was the asking price for the sedan?
  9. Sport Utility Sedan. Like an Outback sedan, but before they called them "Outback Sedan"
  10. Anyone That Has Done It, Check In, Please... Is It The Same As An Outback Lift? I Gotta Know!
  11. That is awesome. Does anyone (Ozified, that's you), know what the max. tire size would be for an XT or XT6 with a 4" lift? And what are the differences between installing a lift on an XT and any other EA82?
  12. Dude, come on. I flipping know what an SUS is. What I was trying to ask (sorry for the confusion) was whether or not an Outback lift would work on an SUS. It would, right? If anyone knows of any for sale in the Spokane area or even Seattle or Idaho or Oregon, let me know, too. (It seems hard to find them with low miles.)
  13. I really want an SUS (my dream car) and I found a good deal on one, but I've never seen one lifted. Is it the same the same-generation Outback? Anyone have pictures of theirs?
  14. Anyone got pictures? I'd really like to try it. I think it would also be cool to put some meats on an SUS. That's my dream car...Do people do that?
  15. Who doesn't drive around corners at high speed?
  16. I despise Krispy Kreme. One doughnut is good like every six months, but more than that and I will freaking vomit. I am not a big fan of slimy, sugar-coated puffs of air. Word to Dunkin' Donuts.
  17. Does anyone know anything about lifting an XT (or XT6)? Has it been done? Does it work? That would be a sweet off-road rig if you ask me. (I've done searches and couldn't find much, so if this has been done already, sorry.)
  18. Black. Black. Black. Matte black. Then paint the car camouflage. Shadow Grass camo.
  19. I gained my knowledge of snow driving skills by taking out my 240SX in the dead of winter. I now know why people like those cars for drifting so much. That is the squirrelli-est car EVER. That little RWD nightmare has tons of torque, wide (bald) tires and ZERO weight in the back end. It will pull a 180 at 25 (in 4th gear at 1300 RPM) with no warning. The four big, non-ABS discs really helped my understanding of braking on ice. It was a good lesson for someone like me, who has had their driver's license for six months. It sure made me a less cocky driver. So, really my point is, try driving a car that's terrible in the snow, you'll develop good emergency skills and become less cocky.
  20. All right, I've got my trip to Baker planned out. Two days snowboarding, three days screwing around in Seattle, Bellingham and the areas around and between. What are the primo spots an the way to/from Seattle? We haven't decided on whether we will take Hwy 2 or just shoot over the conventional way. Is there anything good in the mountains?
