  1. Billy: How much 77-79, (81 Brat) stuff do you have? I may have to fly out and rent a car. Todd
  2. All Gen 1 seats have the same hinges, (they flip forward) and the same tracks. You can separate the tracks from the cushions and the hinges from the seats. Todd
  3. You still interested in th 97 Impreza alloys? See my other post on Impreza alloys. Todd
  4. Tommy, as we discussed.....let me know how you make out with my check. Did you cash it yet? Todd
  5. All 77-79 Subaru front seat will interchange. Two differences.....the "GF hardtop" seats had a thinner cushion, mainly to lower to seat due to the low roofline. It still bolted in place like all the others. The BRATs had thinner seatbacks, so they would recline more in the limited space environment. Hope this helps. Todd
  6. The EJ18 and the EJ22 compare like this. EJ18 1.8L: 110 hp, 110 torque@4400rpm EJ22 2.2L: 135 hp, 140 torque@4400rpm Todd
  7. Yea...I was wondering why it never cleared my account!! I have an account! LOL. My check is good. Go to any Bank of America and cash it with ID, (if you personally have no account to deposit it to). If that doesn't work, send the check back to me and I will Paypal you. Whatever is needed to get you your $15 is fine with me. Email me your phone # and I'll call you. Regards, Todd
  8. Quick question: I have 2 master cylinders for Gen 1 vehicles. One is stamped 13/16 and the other 3/4. Both "look" identicle. Are these both interchangable on the car? Any profound reason why they would not each be able to be used interchangably? What would be inpacted by using 13/16 on a car with an original 3/4? Thanks!!!! Todd
  9. Thanks for all the feedback! I was just wondering if the rear drums on the newer cars lasted as ones as on the early ones. Here in TX , no salt!! Horray!! Heck, the late 70s lasted forever! I think mainly because they had "manual" adjusters and they rarely got adjusted. Both my 95 Impreza "squeak" when cold. They operate quietly when warm. Have 80K on one and 62K on the other. Hate to open it all up if they are fine. I have no braking issues with either and the cars stop perfectly. It's just the cold squeak! Todd
  10. Yes..I need the number on the ORIGINAL factory shocks on ANY subaru from 1974-1979, including BRATs and 4WDs. (up to 81 on the BRATs) They are all the same. Todd
  11. Don't drums and shoes last a bit longer? I know on my vintage Subis, they seem to have the originals at 150K and 20 years. Todd
  12. Thanks for checking Mia. I really need the original #s from Gen 1 cars, wagons or BRATs. They all have the same ones. Todd
  13. When I get the film, I plan on having it converted to VHS. I'll most likely offer copies for sale for the price of production. Any interest? Todd
  14. That Midas price is ROBBERY! Who do they think they are?????????????????????????????? I get so tired of this kind of GREED in the auto repair industry. Those prices border on criminal. You should write their corporate and give them some of your thoughts! Todd
  15. I'm watching this post too. I'm curious. Todd
