  1. For some of the EA-81 Fans out there... 275 cam, solid lifters, decked/ported heads, SS valve springs, and dual carb manifold. Other external mods not shown include, shaker hood, custom exhaust, MSD ignition system/blaster coil/wires, and bosch 4 plugs. As for the dual cabs, The secondaries sound pretty neat when they kick in. Though they do need to be rebuilt, kits were $41 a peice and are on their way. I'm not exactly sure what the output is, I'll let you guess.... but it does cherp the tires on the shift to second and third gear  Heres the hatch it in. In case your wondering that hatch has 275,000 miles on it. The engine that came out had a semi leaky head gasket, so know subarus it prolly would have lasted another 25,000.... I'm just impatient so I took it out early  I'll get some more pictures when everything is done. Peace, Fishums
  2. When and where? Hazelton offroad park? Haven't been there but sounds fun? How do I get there?
  3. I might be interested in an EA-81 kit along with Jon there But I would like to see some pictures of the rear wheels fender clearence first! Anyone have some good clear ones I can take a look at?
  4. Looks good man You might get yourself a new paint job out of the deal!
  5. Really? hmmm I never noticed that! Well I'll still make a custom one anyhow hehehehe I have an ABS plastic machine here at work I have been want a reason to play with. Fishums
  6. Nice cup holders jon, I wouldn't mind having a set myself! It's a real pain wedging my water bottle between the ebrake and passenger seat! Wait till you see the custom ABS Bolt in CD center console I'm working on! If it comes out good enough I'll pull a bunch of them. It tilts the CD player upward so it faces you, and has enough depth for modern aftermarket models in the little EA-81 area. I'm going to paint match it with the exterior. MY first 2 attempts failed missreble but I'm having high hopes for the third! Speaking of rare and exotic EA-81 door panels, I'm not that fond of them myself, seems like they could have made them looks less guady some how! lol I've got an entire spare tan interior with two decent ones how much is that worth anyhow? Fishums
  7. Man I wish the sold more subarus around here in the 80's! You guys have to many to play with! We need more over here!
  8. Remote controlled robot attack wallabys? I used EA-71 powered Koala's when I did that Couldn't get the motion sensors to fit in the wallabies head! Yeah I know, I had to use a stuffed toy one! PITA wasn't to happy with the prototype model. Plus the red filling just made a horrible mess of the circuits! And it was a pain to cram that boxer motor in, it made the poor thing look like it'd seen one to many buffet diners! Fishums
  9. I may have something brand new for you, with adaptor plates and all parts need for EA-81 PM me if you are interested Christopher
  10. And 100% orange juice is made with 40% fresh squeezed kittens! Tell me, how do your guesstimation calculations justify your 15% on regenerative braking? I'm just curious where you got that from, because I've raced in the tour de sol for four years now, with three different full electric vehicles. All of which used regenerative braking. I would like to know where you got that approximation from and how it was conducted. Peace, Fishums
  11. I've alwayed wanted to install a remote controlled det pack into my car, so if it ever got stolen I could push a button and blow the crap out of it and whoevers driving it I made a few protypes on some cars at the junkyard near me, they worked pretty decent. Though I never really trusted my electronics enough to put the final product in my ride. I was always worried I might pic up some random radio noise interference and spontaniously combust myself. This is an old black and white of the prototype Peace, Fishums
  12. Hmmm, come to think of it I always have wanted to move to New Zealand PEace, Fishums
  13. MAn that looks sweet! Awesome hatch!
  14. I know that no one is going to like this suggestion. Because before I saw it on my bug I never really liked it myself. But perhaps gold? You have a tan base already so it wouldn't be a very hard change. Plus if the paint ever got scratched it wouldn't look to bad. Then that fact that who has ever seen a slammed gold brat before? Fishums
  15. I can't wait to see that thing chopped and dropped jon  Rear Wheel drive is going to make that one sweet minitruck! Figure out what color you are going to paint it yet? Fishums
  16. Are the octane ratings on AV and race gas different? Because I have a more than noticable power gain when I run these.
  17. When I ran higher octane fuel in my old camaro, It got better mileage on the highway. It was a non turbo small block chevy. High octane fuel is better for power and preformance, if your motor can handle it. When I fill up my subaru, I go with premium 92 octane.... because if you do the math it's only about $1.50 more a tank. I've spent more on beef jerky. PEace, Fishums
  18. Yeah I photochopped it My skills must be rusty normally people can't tell so quickly..... I think that I would go about that idea, by making the middle differential case out of Two Diff cases. That would give it a PTO to the rear one. Yeah that sounds confusing.... but in my mind it somehow works hahahaha! When I am done with my Hatch, I think I will get started on it.... Not sure how the DMV will react to it though!
  19. That sounds sweet, I hope it comes out good it should tear it up in the woods..... You've sparked my mind now, and have me thinking to find a GL wagon and combine it with my parts hatch to make a 6x6 like this one!!!!!
