That sucks Thought I had figured it out for ya........ are the bearings good in the trailing arm? there isnt much else back there to make noise..... rear end, Axle Bearings bushings for the trailing arm........ Jeff

So as a few of you have seen in my other thread Im going to be lifting the newest Subaru I have its a 94 impreza Mostaru, (Brian) met a guy down in Oly that needed it gone fast, like fast, fast, so he called me up and I picked it up for pretty Figgin cheap, The VSS is messed up on it but thats not to much of a biggie but I was able to get her home in Limp mode, jsut and FYI If you ever have and OBD1 impreza pull the MAF sensor plug and that will put it in limp mode .......... This is how it started off...... The I did some stuff to it............ and this is it for the time being........ got bored last weekend and cut some 2" blocks 8* in the front and straight in the back With the Help of RickDonkUless (Rick) and El Presidente (Josh)......... then put a set of 27 on the wheels it came with, seems to drive and go just fine......... This is it now...... As for the build I plan on a 6"body lift and 8" struts, so pretty much like butters, but with a Heater and Power Steering, looking to run 31X1250X15's on some wider wheels........... There will be a D/R put in it too. so there is a bit of work to do but it will be at WCSS, As for everything that happens with this Im going to keep updating it but there are few other things that need to be wrapped up in the shop before I clogg it all up for a few weeks with this....It going to be green and of course yellow, it will be named Turtle...... I cut the eye off the bottom of the strut and add a 2" spacer in there then weld it all back together...................... Jeff

Ill cut them up tomorrow for ya and get them all set up......... What do you have for the rear? Jeff

got ya, Im going to go 6" body 8" struts just sort of like butters...... Jeff

2X2 3/16" is perfect just go get a rim of that shouldnt cost you any more than 15 bucks for what you would need.................... Jeff

Ill make it work you *******R *****G*R*** GRR*****S I made those up they arnt even swear words, lol Anyways I think Im goint to try and go 3" over stock with just the axles, since that would be a little less than a forester strut, I just cant afford what junk yards want for them. Sunday the big show starts motor and trans will be coming out then the D/R will be going in then the lift shall really start coming together............................... Jeff

Well not to let the cat out of the Bag on my self, but Im going up 9" on a 94 Impreza Wagon, Brain found one down in oly. and told me about it, I got it home and now the fun shall begin, there are so many things I dont know about Impreza's so I might be asking some dumb questions, Just a heads up, It will be Green I think its going to be named Turtle................ I had 30's with a 2" lift and no extened radius arms, had to cut but it worked amazing Jeff

So the crossmember that is there now, you can just drill where the D/R trans mounts will go? its in the correct place? Jeff

does anyone have pics of the way that they mounted a D/R in an Impreza? Ive searched but the threads just sorta Trail off with no real end of the thread....................... Jeff

Cool give me a heads up once you get started on that lift and Ill hook ya up with those and we can just swap them............ BTW does Roger still got those wheels and tires of mine? Jeff
