Ya just offer less than what he wants cause sooner or later youll have to do HG's on it, youll have about 300 bucks in parts into it, so offer 700, ask last time the T belts where done and look under it that always tells the real story leaks, ware, how its been driven (wheeled or crashed) wires hanging, rust so on and so on........................... Its cutting out and stalling out like dead, then once you start it up it runs perfect untill it under a load the only code its throughing is the vss. at this point all we can do is through parts at it because thats all we got, timing is on and everthing its where it belongs just runs all funky under a load. Think the code was 33 or 34 Richard knows witch one it was for sure but I do know that its jsut the VSS................. got an anwser to that? Jeff

I would put money on it that your intake manifold gasket is leaking, it will flow down and leak off the bottom of your head right next to your exaust, 4 bucks and you're back in bussiness................ Jeff

So Rick and I resealed and EA82 out of an 86 GL wagon, did everything just like I always do had the heads machined by my local Napa, got new HG's intake manifold and exaust gaskets. we put it all back together we got it in the car and it was ready for service but its missing on #3 we put all new plugs in it, plug wire went through 3 different distys, one of witch was on ricks everyday car, 3 carbs, 1 intake, 2 coils, checked and rechecked the T-belts, checked the timing on the disty, its at 8* BTC, 170psi on the compression, took the valve cover off to make sure valves where moving, checked all the fuses, and still it is missing on #3 the valves where even ground and reseated, I have no clue what the heck it could be at this point...............any help would be good, BTW it is an carbed EA82 with a stock carb on it..........................
