You can call me an rump roast too if you want, but For you your best bet is to. 1) Put and Axle in 2)Replace your Trans. With the stock 4 speed 3)keep your EA81 in it 4)Use the search button / Dive into a project and Figure it out I put and EA81 in an EA82 car, I didnt ask 5 billion questions along the way, I did research and did it, you'll figure things out as you go, or end up selling the parts for it and then the rig............. Also you need to drop your crossmember in your car if you havn't, EA81 axles cant take the angle like an EA82.................... I've wheeled years with an 82 Brat and 4" lift, there is no reason to try and do all these things with your knowledge your in over your head. Jeff

  12. If your going to try and kill it with water every time you go out and have water up to your seat belt, I wouldnt worry about it, sounds like a stupid Idea to do that in my book but, do what you want, you could put a sprint car seat in there like a butler built or somthing, then you could put a 5 point restraint system in it. You'll some day learn that muddy water is pretty fun to a certian point, but your grow up one day and learn that its not as cool as you think, anyone can drive into a deep rump roast mud hole at 45 MPH and put the fire out, but wheeling on a real rail is a lot more fun than being swamped in your car, then going swiming to hook it up and get it out. bottom Line in Plastic Seats are a huge FAIL. Leave what you got in it and deal with it. I would fix the trans and front axle before I went wheeling again though......... Jeff
  13. My buddy had some in his Jeep, and they where hard as hell, plus if you have a wallet in your pocket, it will really kill your rump roast.................... Just ride in the back seats of a brat for a while you'll get the Idea...... Jeff
  14. it aint all that far, just dont come this way through Clarkston, that the long way, make a weekend out of it and come play!!! Jeff
  15. There are more than enough parts to get you going again around here. I got all the parts to build a car from scrach.................. Jeff
  16. It's stock, this is all in the struts, none of the crossmembers are dropped Jeff
  17. Put it all back together and push the strut down just enough to get the blocks in from the top, that is the best way to do it. I do all of mine like that, its tight but thats how it is. Jeff
  18. Why are you yelling???? http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=102498&highlight=lifted http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=101855&highlight=lifted http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=96259 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=97397 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=97561 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=94629 That might help a little..................................the last one dont do the rear blocks that way................ read the whole thread..you'll see why... Jeff
  19. You dont want to change the trail unless you have too, if you see all your buddies drive over it................ I must drive over it too...... dont want to get crap from the other guys all day long............ Jeff
