SJR EA82 new white wagon 6" build thread 2009
one eye replied to Scott in Bellingham's topic in Off Road
Sounds like a good plan Scott, it's always nice to start with a clean straight body, but once that lift gets put on you start getting crazy ideas, that's why i"ll never lift the touring wagon......Sweet score though Scott can't wait to see the final product!! Jef -
Sorry man, I'm not tryin to rub it in or anything. This one was flipped and has a good ol twang in the "frame", thats the only reason for it moving to the, Wheel the crap out of it section, it was a real nice rig back in the day, but atleast its getting used for something other than just sitting, and rusting out in a leanto. Your best bet is to move out here and you'll never have a shortage of Subies!! Jeff

These are not angled but it will give you some Ideas!! check this thread http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=97436 Jeff

About 3 years ago my buddy Cody had an accident in South Mount Vernon, with his 85 hatchback, it has since sat at his house on jackstands for that whole time, this is what it looked like back in the day. And then the day of the wreck, thanks to 3eyedwagon we have a pic!! it smashed the drivers side hatch and the passengers side fender up. doesn't look too bad but the car is twist a bit. So we headed down to his place and...........lifted it a bit this is where the hi-lift jack came in hand. Thank you to uncoolperson here on the board too, Andy, you'll be happy to know that parts of your car are living on one piece at a time:grin: the RF area still needs some work if anyone is wondering why the tire is so whacked out this is for McBrat This car is for off road use only so there are 2" blocks in the front and the 19mm under the seat is all the way up, here is what it looks like in the front strut area. The best part about this story is, there is one more hatch that has been saved, for now, from being parted out, I'm pretty sure with a bit more work this thing will make a good little wheeler............ High Mileage On E81 Subies
one eye replied to roadsubiedog's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
my touring wagon has 312,000 miles on it but it is on its third motor. Jeff -
It just kinda follows the body line there, I had to cut the top part or else it will rub, so I just followed it out, I dont like the look of it to much either but it is only the second one I've done with that much cutting, you don't really practice that too much so its kinda trial and error. plus the tire moves back a bit while compressed. So there has been another lifted wagon come out of my shop. Dan (86GLSub) needed a lift so.........................here you go I think this one ended up pretty big, 235/75/15s, a 2" lift, and an rump roast load of cutting and there she is!!! Jeff
-
So no one else counts? Jeff
-
I dont think I do. Jeff
-
Right on I thought you where addressing me, If anything else a 2" lift isn't to hard to do. then you a ton of options for wheels. just a thought....... Jeff

No These are the passenger side doors, I replaced the drivers side doors. Jeff

I got some videos and pics, it was raining and Snowing pretty hard so I didn't get to many, I'll upload a few after bit. I killed my doors and woody tried to put a bullet in his sedan, but other than that very little damage was done, Next run I think welded rearends will be a must, John did pretty good considering but still had trouble. The jeep of course did very well but the other jeep was on its first run ever so he took it very EZ. I'll post up some vids real soon ......................... Jeff
