  1. Are you gonna start selling those on the SJR website? Jeff
  2. Chris (audio_file) here on the board has 225/60/15 or 235/60/15's on his 87 Wagon and its stock,it looks real good too. This is it. with a 2"er it would look real good. Jeff
  3. I'll sell it to ya if you want to drive up to Washington State and pick it up. Jeff
  4. No smoke no knock no problems at all I've been driving it all week. The gas gauge doesn't work but other than that, oh and there is no Cd player anymore, but other than that, it's sound. Crazy huh? Jeff
  5. 2" SJR lift with 30's on 15" toyota wheels drilled. They rub a little and I had to cut and pound quite a bit. If you have a loyal that only has the push button in it right??? If that is the case you might want to look for a D/R and put that in. S/R's with big tires and could mean you burn through clutches like mad. That is if you intend to wheel it. Jeff
  6. Now open just off Exit 221 in Conway Wa, We got part, parts parts! now open on Sunday for summer hours. Please call for Quotes, If you got a Broken Subaru part, We (I) can help. J.P. Used Subaru Superstore and Autoparts Warehouse Conway Wa          Jeff
  7. That's kinda what I'm thinking, But I have the newer brat, Touring Wagon and XT turbo all as my daily drivers, but I can only drive one at a time. I need to get rid of a few, but What few should I do away with. My car count is @ 15 or 16 right now, And I need to pick one up this weekend. Jeff
  8. Ok it was more of a tie. We both made it through with very little trouble. Jeff
  9. Sorry I'm from Skagit county, they nerver did learn us to pay attention none! Jeff
  10. This is going to be my pavement pounder. I'll use my red brat and SJR Wagon if I feel the urge to beat the hell out of a rig! For your Sedan Do you have a lift all set up for it? Should We start setting dates for a wheeling trip? Jeff
  11. About 3 or so years ago My buddy Ben bought a Brat from Bob down in buckly, Ben went and lifted it and got new Wheels and tires. Aftere all that he parked it about a year ago in La Conner, So he called me up and asked me if I wanted to buy it. I said yes, So I got and 83 Brat with a 4" lift under 1000 bucks. It's the Score of the year. Jeff
  12. Scott you where in the same boat, I was there And you need bigger tires!! I helped push your car off the rocks!! Jeff
  13. I did it too. no more timing belts!! and very strong axles. I used the carb from the EA82 on the EA81 block. there are a few other little things you have to do for that but if you are using the EA81 block and Intake it should be a lot easier. Jeff
  14. No I went everywhere. On the way back out around the gate It was though but I made it with out a pull. Jeff
  15. Good to see that the day all the EA81's and EA82's are gone we will all still be able to lift and wheel subaru's! I'll be able to sleep better tonight!! BTW it looks very good, I want one. Jeff
  16. Sounds good! I'll come back to this post in a couple of weeks and bring it back up for conversation. I think I started this thread a bit early. Jeff
  17. Rob I see you checking this thread out!!! lets go get that car down south. I'll give you a ride down there if you need. We need to start a NW Washington Subaru offroad group. Jeff
  18. We do need to do runs like this more often, This was a big weight off my shoulders, after running the lifted EA81's for the last 7 or so years, This was the first time that I have got the take the GL163:lol: up and run it like it was ment to be run, and no broken axles, that is the nicest thing ever not changing an axle on the trail:headbang: I still need to weld the rearend and tie the battery down better but over all I'm happy with the out come for the day. I know David is drooling to get one he would do almost anything for one. I'll talk with him and see what all I can do for him, Scott you know I got a ton of parts but I want to do something for him, cause he used to wheel with the crue all the time. Lets see what we can do for him!! And for those of you wondering what is a GL163, I like to name all my cars (But I kinda stole this one from Will), anywho the car is an EA82 with an EA81 motor 81+82=163:) and it's a GL so there you go Its a GL163 Jeff
  19. That's the 40th one. Jeff
  20. Sounds good to me, We can only park 15 cars at my house then the neighbors start calling the cops. Jeff
  21. You should come up and check it out some time, I think between Scott and I we have enough parts to build a whole new car if you needed so no worries about breaking parts and all that jazz. You would really like that trail that Scott and I went on yesterday. Jeff
