  1. Sort of. We , Me and 4 or 5 of the other northern guys met up with Zap and Austin back in 2004, We did not know the area and all we knew was the parking lot area. there was not enough hard A in our camp site to stay warm. We had to meet everyone early and living 125 miles away We would have had to leave at 4AM, so we just stayed in the parking lot. In this day and age I would drive the new Wagon I bought from Scott, But the friggin thing is stuck in low range, 4500 rpms for 125 miles = lots of gas. So in turn, that means I'm out. Jeff
  2. Just go with 30's Scott!! cut till they fit!!!! Jeff
  3. Should just straighten that one up a bit and lift it. You look to be right near reiter pit so it sounds like a good reason to do it right? Jeff
  4. I've camped there before, in the parking lot. It was the worst night of my life. I woke up to 3" of water in my tent. I stayed in Oct. though so you know what that would be like. I'd be up for a meet if it was up this way more. Evens creek is just way, Way to far, if anything breaks, it's over. Canada to marysville is my "Comfort" Zone. There has to be some place up your way isn't there Scott? Maybe up past kendell or Maple Falls? Jeff
  5. This is a 2" suspension lift. Make by SJR, And it does not break axles. I have 30's on mine Jeff
  6. Chris, Will and I where talking about going down today, a little later in the day. I'll give you a buzz on the way down. If you want to come your more than welcome. Just bring a rain coat, it is pouring cats and dogs!!! Jeff
  7. I know you've seen it before will but I just had to post it. Jeff
  8. I think I'll be stuck in the house for a few more days, On the nicest days of the year, but I just want to get over this. Jeff
  9. I would do that but everything on this car is "off". all the shift linkages and even the steering coulmn is all loose from knees smashing into it. I think all the motor mounts and tranny mounts have been messed up too. Oh and reverse is a pain in the butt to get in. So I'm just going to do the 86 sedan Idea. Jeff
  10. I'm out for sure now, I got the Flu so there is no way I can get mine together.let alone hold my head up straight. Sorry to let you down Scott. Jeff
  11. because those are cool pics. you did a good job there, plus it was fun. Jeff
  12. I'm going to need a buffer, a big buffer!! Jeff
  13. That's the plan, I am going to put the tranny, axles, hubs, and rear set up on an 86 GL10 turbo sedan and lift it. Kinda sucks to see one go down but I needed one bad, just hate to see one that I put so much time into come back like this. Jeff
  14. I got power windows on mine, the 86 had Manual windows but I got the power on mine. Jeff
  15. My brat has 30's on it and I drive it just like its stock I have no problem. The 86 Wagon I bought from Scott has 30's too. its stuck in 4 low and it drives just fine too. seems to get up to speed a lot faster than my brat but thats about it. I turn 3500 rpm at about 55mph. I have no problem with it. just go for it!! 30's look sweet Jeff
  16. A few months ago I had an 86 Wagon for sale and my buddy bought it from me for 450 bucks this is what it looked like I bought it back to day for 50 bucks this is what it looks like now The motor runs and the thing still drives on its own. just needs a radiator and a headlight and I think shes good to go!! Oh and what was hit, a 2007 PT Looser......... The subaru was going 55 to 60, at least that's what I was told. Jeff
  17. Scott I don't know If I am going to make it or not. I know that the maroon SJR Wagon would make it up there but might not make it back down. Woody still ahs his car in the shop so I cant do the EA81 thing yet, But if anything the next weekend would work a whole lot better. That way I could get mine going and Rick might be able to get his going too. I just hate to miss a chance to go wheelin, but it aint lookin to good at this point. Oh and on top of all that I got to short block Woodys motor and get it all ready to get dropped in by friday. Way to much is going on and I still have to work every day! If you try and shoot for the next weekend that would be a whole lot better for me. Jeff
  18. You got one laying around? The only reason I would do it this way is because I have 2 hanging out on the floor, and I think that the EA81 is better than the EA82. Not that I am trying to bad mouth the EA82, but they kinda scare me, I've had kinda bad luck with them. Jeff
  19. I did a search on the SPFI EA81s but I was trying to find more about an EA81 Carb in a Gen3. I know that it seems kinda pointless to do but I want to use the intake off of an EA82 and the long block of an EA81. I hope I am making sence. Has anyone everdone this? Is it a Better Idea to just use the intake and long block of the EA81? I would like to use the EA82 intake to have everything match up linkage wise. And for the dist. do you use the EA81 or EA82? I should do a search for that but as I was typing I just though of that. You can even let me know if this is a good idea or bad idea. this is somthing I've been kicking around in my mind, and today Scott in Bellingham stoped by, and I told him about it. After I told him about it I started to think that I don't know if it will work or not. Anyways I'm rambling on so let me know what you think Jeff
  20. ya the curb finished that off...... The STI lasted about 3 or so months. Jeff
