I picked this thing up for Cheap. The guy I got it from said that the Wheel Bearings were out but all he forgot was the washer that goes on the outside of the V washer. I put one on and put some bigger tires on it since it had bald stock ones on, and replaced all the seats, front and rear. I need to do a few other things but This one is the most quite subaru Ever, for 278,xxx miles on it, it runs great. I'm very happy with it. getting laid off is the best thing ever, I'm finally able to get all my projects done! Jeff:banana:

That's what I think I had one go out in eastern Wa and drove all the way home with a thump thump thump. sounds just like what I had going on. Jeff -
Oh, well that sums that up. I had heard that there is one somewhere on the motor. Jeff
-
I know where those two are but the vin# located on the motor itself is the one that i'm looking for. Jeff

That looks nice. I had it in my mind that you where going to Half the doors, you know "cut them in half" but I should have know better. i can't see you doing something I would do. they do look very good, Job Well done. Jeff

looks Like it could start getting crappy again by then. It aways is funner with a lot of mud to deal with. Jeff

Does any one know where the vin # is located on EA81 and EA82's ? I just wanted to know to see if all the numbers match on some of my cars, I don't think they do but I want to see. Jeff

If it is a harley it will fit. I drove about 200mile with a 2005 883 sportster in the back of mine. That was a big work out for the old brat I even went all the way over the pass with it. Jeff

will, I havn't ever used those tires but I know that Generals are pretty soft. I had a set of 31's on my 69 Chevy and they smoked like a you know what. That was the only cool thing I've ever found good about that Brand of tire. Jeff

Thanks Scott. I know. I hope they'll all hold in there but there is always one axle. Jeff
-
I'll bring an extra rear axle just in case, It can be the "Crew axle" cause all of us w/ the gen 2's know one of us is going to need it. I might even bring 2 extras. and I'll have a front one at my house If anyone needs one for the drive home. Jeff

Woody says he is in too. He is going to get his brat done this week and he'll be going up with us. Jeff

Are those Widcats that you got on there right now? If they have some decent tread left on them I think they would do the trick. My buddy Brian went up there with, almost bald 30's and he went everywhere. As long as there is a fair amount of tread I wouldn't worry about it. Jeff

We could move it to what ever day is best for everyone. I just put up a date so that everyone would maybe have an Idea and all, about this. What ever day works for me. Jeff

I just took a jumper wire from the wire on the back of the switch right to the blower motor. Then I replaced the block that was right on the bottom part of the Blower here is a the link to what I had going on. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=84226 If you move down a bit you can see what I was talking about. I hope that helps you. Jeff

I was wondering if anyone would like to try a walker run for March 15th. I put it out about a month so that way everyone will have fair warning about it coming up. I hope that there are a few people that would like to come up for it, or down for that matter. I'm sure that I could say Will and I are in, Although I haven't asked Will about it yet, But Scott, Rollie,Rob, Kenny and maybe a few other northerners would like to come down to romp around in my neck of the woods. Zap and Qman It would always be nice for you guys to come up too, but it is a long drive I understand. Jess (slideshow86) if you want to come too this is a good time, If you have any trouble up here I think there are enough parts to get you going again.I'll even offer up some shop space if anything happens.Anyone who would like to come, come on down. Maybe we can even get Todd out for this. Jeff

I really don't know If that will mess w/ your car. It might mess with things and lean it out real bad, The mass air flow sensor could start to screw up. I worry about that thng, But it might not I'm not sure. Jeff -
You can get a reamer or another drill bit that's bigger. On my first Wheels I did I never Even beveled them thetyJust Kinda did it on their own over time, I Don't recomend that though. Get a reamer at home depot or lowes or any hardware store. carfreak85's wheels would be a good deal With a 195/75/15 on them. I'd almost go that route you wouldn't have to beat the crap out of your fender wells that bad or at all. Jeff

What GD said Is what I had to do, Just pretty much start over It sucks but That was the way I fixed mine on my brat. Jeff
