  1. interesting your the first person that ive heard of that happening to. ive been using the same cd that got stuck in a front load in a magazine for several years. all i can say is cd labels are a bad idea in general
  2. its a pretty simple fix... never put a cd with a home made label in any cd player that is not a magazine or tray load
  3. yes but not ones with paper labels.... actualy no indash changer ever does. it will play fine for a while but they get so hot the labels can come off.
  4. check the return of the pedal and lube the springs etc on the throttle body, i guess its possible a new throttle cable might help you as a last resort
  5. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2023&page=5&pp=10&highlight=buzzer look thru here this seems to be what works (1/2 wat down the page) but look through there might be more later on
  6. " stiff rides lasting more than 4 days, while rare, may be a sign of serious issues. Consult your nearest dealer"
  7. check the tension, it should feel pretty tight... if something wasnt tightened it may be slipping and burning
  8. im pretty sure its 20% and yea id agree that Gm wants to steal subarus awd... thats all thats really in it for them. look at what they did with saab 92x.
  9. sadly the fuse that controls the abs also runs the cruise control so youll loose that if you take it out
  10. id go for the 2.2 so 90-94 legacy or whatever year impreza they are used up until, i think its 99 or so edit: www.cars101.com
  11. i dont know what kind of car these came off of but your gonna need to make sure that the circumference is within the 1/4 inch spec or your gonna need to get them shaved. just a thought
  12. on my 97 legacy the crusie control and abs are on the same fuse so youd loose that too if you have it
  13. cant you just take out the 2 20 amp fuses that run to the keyless entry box? i think that dissarms the whole thing. if not, for a temporary fix tape over the little switch that tells the car the door is open. then it wont know youve opened the car at all. this should work till you can get a hold of a remote.
  14. this isnt a subaru thing at all lots of cars have different psi specs for front/rear. not an awd thing either its just a modern car thing.
  15. try disconnecting the battery for half an hour to reset. reconnect it then turn the key to run and hold the button for 1 second.
  16. thanks very much its nice to have a "inside" link. did you get to drive it?
  17. i got mine off ebay (97 legacy) and you should be able to find directions on how to program it.... if not go to the dealer and have it programed but i would go to ebay for the actual remote
  18. ive heard a lot about people wanting 2 position memory seats in there 05 legacys is that coming with the b9x?
  19. i cold are intake isnt gonna make a difference like that. your stock exaust is fine for handeling it as are your injectors. your money would be better spent on handleing upgrades that will give your ride much more fun than the 1 or so hp ihcreases you might get form a "cold air intake"
  20. So how many people here are interested in a 7 passenger subaru? Is this gonna be another Baja or is this gonna get the popularity of an Outback? i dont know very much about it so just wondering what others have read. im assuming this would have a 3.0 H6, unless subaru is adding another engine to there linup. so pretty much whats your oppinion on the car theres a little info on www.subaru.com but nothing extensive.
  21. run sea foam through a vac line itll make the car feel more responsive by cleaning it out. search you should be able to find the procedure
  22. go to www.crutchfield.com and use the sizing guide to find out what fits in the stock locations. sorry i cant help with the custom stuff.
  23. do a search for torque bind youll get more info than you want to hear
  24. whatever fits in the dash:drunk: you can buy a harness that will adapt to it
