  1. Maybe this writeup could be Helpful, if you want to convert your carburetor's Vacuum operated secondary, onto a more reliable mechanical operated Secondary: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/147163-mechanical-conversion-on-hitachi-carburetors/ Kind Regards.
  2. Also I decided to open another thread, dedicated to seek and find those items and Parts that I might need to keep alive, my beloved Subaru, the thread is called: "Christmas Gift for my BumbleBeast!" And the Link is Here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/124135-christmas-gift-for-my-bumblebeast/ Kind Regards.
  3. During all these years, not only I shared knowledge and photos, but also I've sent Subaru Parts to many USMB members in Different Countries, such like USA, Australia, Spain, Peru, Chile, Dominican Republic, etc... also I've sent and received non-Subaru items; you can see various interesing Photos of some of the things that I've sent to, and Received from another USMB Members Worldwide, in the following Thread: Here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/153495-got-a-package-from-honduras/ I live in Honduras, but Don't be afraid of selling me any Subaru part because I don't live in USA, I have a "Virtual Address" with an Honduran Cargo & Courier Company in Florida, so you only need to send the items there, and their personnel will ship them to their local offices, where I pick them up, paying the shipping and handling at their countertop; so No Problem. Check the above link to see some of the exchanges. Kind Regards. Edit: In the Past, USMB used to have an i-Trader rating feature...
  4. One of the best things in my life has been to find this Awesome USMB since the EZBoard times, and that you all allowed me to be part of it, and treated me like Family, despite of being on a Different country, far away. I never felt alone, because I could have pretty interesting chats with different people worldwide, on this forum, learning a Lot, especially about Subarus, English Language, and many other things, also I've shared all and everything I know, with the aim of helping other Subaru Owners / Enthusiasts worldwide. I know that lots of things have changed, lots of stuff has been going on, somehow the board feels a little Different nowadays and lots of interesting conversations regarding our hobbies with Subarus, has moved to certain social networks, such like Facebook: My subie was featured on the SOA's Facebook cover, in 2013 This is Regarding my Weber Carburetor Swap's Writeup: This is Regarding my Suspension Mods Writeup: Kind Regards.
  5. I used to have Steel Rims with those Saucer Caps, and let me tell you that those works good on the XT Aluminium Rims, Also. Kind Regards.
  6. What you need, is to obtain the mere photo's URL address, which is not easy to do with Flikr ... I obtained one of yours:
  7. The best way to share photos here is uploading them to a photo hosting website, such like Photobucket, Facebook, etc... then once you view the photo there, do a right click over the photo and copy its URL address, then come to do a post here, you'll see in the Tools of the post window, a small green square, under the A and the ... hit it, a dialog box will appear, then erase the http:// that the dialog box has, and paste the copied URL address of the Photo. That will display the photo here. Kind Regards.
  8. Suction Cups! ... How about the inner side of the Windows' Glass? Kind Regards.
  9. That was Awesome! How did you Fixed the Camera in Place so tight? I'll like to see some footage taken from the inside (Cabin) of the PandaWagon, Plus some footage of the Outside (the whole car), mixed in... Next video, perhaps? Kind Regards.
  10. That first gen Brat looks Nice in that Soft Pink Colour. Thank you for sharing the Photos. Kind Regards.
  11. I only Dislike the Timin' Belts setup on my EA82. I Really Like everything else, as pointed by Bushwick, on the first Post. But what I Really Dislike the Most, is the Lack of a Local Subaru Dealer + Aftermarket support, and the fact that Fuji Heavy industries doesn't Care at all, to left Orphan all the Subies in Honduras / Central America... Kind Regards.
  12. Off-Topic, but... ...Very Kindly, let me suggest you to update your User Profile Page, because it lacks the "Gender" information, and Despite that Dania is a female name, usually the User Name / Screen Name is not exactly the real person's name, in fact usually it is the Car's name. Kind Regards.
  13. A Relay is Always Safer, especially for prolongated use in high current / Amperage Draw devices, such like Head Lamps. However, there is a way to bypass the need for a relay, which is in use in many cars past and present, but is Safe to use in Temporary / Short time use devices, such like the Horn; in fact our EA82's comes like that from factory: They wire the 12 volts Positive (+) input, Fused Directly from the Battery to the Horns, and the Switching line at the Steerin' Wheel, is the Negative (-) / Ground line. By using the Negative as switching line, it doesn't get Hot nor needs a relay, but the Horn is a Temporary use device. I wrote a Writeup on How to wire any Relay for any use, which might provide useful info on the Subject, it is Here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/87523-how-to-swap-the-old-roundie-relays-with-standard-bosch-relays/ Kind Regards.
  14. I'll Love to have more information about that, such like Part Numbers and Photos. Kind Regards.
  15. Thank you, Thomas... I've been Reading Books since I learned to Read at the age of four, Decades ago... then with time I became Lawyer and had to read even more, daily; so my Eyes got tired early in my Life, and I need to wear eye glasses all times ... I explained with details in another thread, the reason why I have to use a Bigger Style Font and better contrast Colour on my Posts: to help my eyes... Remember that I learned english only by myself, and if I don't read it clear, I could write many misspelled words. Kind Regards. (Underlined words are Web Links)
  16. The Panda Wagon looks Awesome there! Did you Uploaded the Video from the Camera that is on the Windshield, to YouTube? I'll Like to see it! Kind Regards.

  18. Your Brat looks Awesome! How you gonna name it? So, if they're Not 13" ... are they 14"? Kind Regards.

  20. Thank you for Sharing the Accurate information. Could you share Photos of your Subaru Manatee, on that Manatee thread, (to avoid hijack this thread) whose Link is Posted Above? Kind Regards.
  21. This Post: Is taken from This Thread: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/95279-fj1600-question/ Which features photos of the two generations of Subaru Manatees. Kind Regards.
  22. I believe that config came on the Subaru Manatee, but I am Not Sure. The Production of the EA71 ended in 1994, that was the most widely used engine for Latin America and Asia in the 1980's decade, and the Later versions came EFi for JDM and very Few other areas; the EFi EA71 came on the Subaru Leone Gen III "Maia" Limited Edition. More info on the Legendary "Strange & Weird Subaru Stuff" (underlined words are a web link to the Maia EA71 Subaru info and photos on that thread) Kind Regards. ► Edit: I'm so Sorry for Hijack this Thread.
  23. About the Twin Downdraft Weber Carbs EA81S engine, let me Share an old post here, taken from the Legendary "Strange & Weird Subaru Stuff" Thread: (Post Nº 1,598) Factory Twin Carb Subaru EA Engines were available since the EA62 (1300) engine which came on the Subaru FF-1 "Star" or "G" versions, that engine came with dual carburetors as a factory option for the Sport Package, but the valves and everything else came equal to the Standard version engine. But both the EA71 (1600) and the EA81 (1800) engines that came optionally with Twin Carburators from Factory, (those were defined by a following "S" at the end on their engine codes, this was Subaru's way of calling it the Sports model.) These engines were completely differently designed to the standard models. The "S" models had Dual Ports and Opposite Valve configuration, which means different cams and rocker gear. They were available in Japan in the Subaru Leone GSR and in the later first gen Leone RX Models. These engines has Higher Compression Ratio and had ~10% more power output. They were used heavily in the late 70's and early 80's Rally cars. Do you Mean like This? (this is an EA71): I've seen such conversions, even done to EJ engines... ...Usually to be Mounted in VolksWagens... Yes! Yes, it is this: And this are Photos of the Car on the 1983 Safari Rally Race: When Subaru Developed that Head-Mounted Twin downdraft Weber Carb EA81S engine with Reversed Valves, they already had the Turbo EFi Technology; so, very Few of those EA81S with Twin Webers were made, since Subaru started to sell the "Turbo Traction" Models in 1982 in Japan, and in 1983 worldwide... Very Few Twin Weber Carb Models were Available for Sale, mainly in Japan and New Zealand, like This one, which was for sale some months ago: I'll Love to Own one of those Second Gen Leone RX with Twin Weber Carbs! Kind Regards.
