Appreciated Nico, While it was really Sad to see your Awesome Subie with that hit, it is really Awesome to see how you managed to use the situation to improve your Subie even more... which seemed impossible. By the way, I mentioned long time ago, in another thread, the H4 Headlamps with Plastic housing / front Glass, which was widely used in the LADM (Latin American Domestic Market) Specs subies, starting in year 1990. I only know about another USMB Member who obtained similar ones from Germany. Also, the Yellow Halogens with Self moving Covers are Really Awesome!!! ... ... and it is something really New for me, which explains the rare Switch I Found long time ago in an Early EA82 Turbo at a Local Junk Yard, this one: . . I Bet it is the one which activates those covers, because it features identical symbol than the Older Subarus with the "Third Eye" in the middle grille; I mean this Switches: . . Would you like to share photos and info of those Subaru Halogens with Automatic Covers, on the thread about Rare optional parts on Subarus? Thank you for sharing those beautiful photos and the repairs of your fantastic subie. Kind Regards. Underlined words are web links ☺

Welcome! Nice Red Wagon. Kind Regards. -
I took a Photo of the Metal Base, on the Air Filter Box of my "BumbleBeast" to show you better where goes the two openings, which are intended for: ► The one on the Left was added by me, welding with brass a 3/8" nipple; ....that opening is the pressure Relief, which goes to a "T" to the Driver's side Hose. ► The one on the Right, is the 5/8" opening, which goes to an Elbow, ....then directly to the Passenger's side Hose, to deliver Fresh, filtered Air.

You're Welcome. Well, I am not sure, because I can not see your car "in Person" and I'm trying to imagine if there is a difference in the Wiring between the Manual & the Automatic, for the Engine Management... as I've seen very Few Automatic Loyales here, and all of those came from USA like the one you can see here: (Scroll Down) ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/87725-an-open-request-to-loyale-27-turbo/page-5 So I don't have experience with Automatic Loyales. I kindly suggest you to check the Wirings and be Sure if there are not mismatched ones plugged, nor a safety switch that might need to be bypassed. Kind Regards. -

Mass Air Flow Sensor. I bet that the different wiring between Automatic & Manual cars, has something to do with your "No Spark" issue, in example, Automatics usually have a Sensor for the Position of the Shifter, so if it is not in Park (Nor in Neutral in some Cars), it will not let it Start... maybe there is a missing "Sensor" or unplugged Wiring, and some Loyales has the same Plug with the Same Colour and same Quantity of Wires, that could be cross-plugged each other in the wrong way... Kind Regards. -

Yes... However, an electrical False Contact on the Fusible Links, could cause same problem also. Here is said Writeup, with Photos: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/129601-how-to-easily-test-an-ignition-module/ It is about Carbureted EA82's Distributor; but maybe it could be Helpful. Kind Regards. -
The confusion must be due to the angle of the Photo... Let me know if you want a photo with the element on its place. Kind Regards.

I never needed to cut anything from them, but I obtained used springs from the Junk Yard... maybe you need to drive your subie Loaded, in order to let them settle... I bet that you'll Love the new way the Subie will handle, with a loaded rear... like never before. Kind Regards. -
It's inevitable...my weber questions. =\
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to l75eya's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
As you can read on my Weber Swap Writeup, about the main fuel jets, I left the low (Primary) Stage with 140, and changed the High (Secondary) Stage to 162, and it works better with an accel superstock (Made in Usa) High Vibration 8140 ignition Coil, which has closer-to-stock impedances; and the little increase in voltage output, helps to burn the little increase in Gas. My "BumbleBeast" also does not have Choke on its Weber, and I only pump the gas pedal twice prior to Start it on cool mornings, and it start easy without touchin' the gas pedal; but our winter is warm, compared to the average USA Climates. Kind Regards.
