  1. Happiness!!! I Like it! Chrome and Shiny things on your Ride could be Therapeutic for Sure. Wow, those looks Pretty Nice!!! Could you provide more info on these? Kind Regards.
  2. Maybe you could upload here, closer taken Photos of those "RG" 4X140 Rims... Kind Regards.
  3. Don't Forget to Cap Close all the unused ports on the intake Manifold!
  4. Everything is well explained at post Nº 10 of the Writeup whose Link is posted Above, but if you still need some clarification on Vacuum lines, let me re-explain it here. ► One Vacuum Line from the intake manifold to the Brake Booster. ......(this is the Thickest hose, shall be connected to the Thickest outlet on the intake) ► One Vacuum line from the Front-right port of the Weber Carb, directly to the Distributor Advance. ► One Vacuum Line from the intake Manifold to the Vacuum Accumulator Bottle. Despite that your subie does not have A/C, if it has the accumulator bottle under the Windshield, at the engine bay, behind the Passenger's side strut Tower (on LHD Models) that vacuum accumulator Bottle provides stable vacuum to the A/C buttons on the Dashboard and also for engaging the 4WD mode on the Push-Button Models. So, if your subie doesn't have that kind of Transmission nor A/C, you can simply omit to connect that third vacuum line. Kind Regards.
  5. And those are the Subaru "OMEGA" version? The Coupe was built as Subaru Omega, in New Zealand. They built Brats / Brumby there also. Kind Regards.
  6. ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/71510-ideas-on-swaping-a-weber-carb-on-ea82´s/ Kind Regards
  7. Beautiful XT ... Looks very Clean! About the Rims, see this Page: ~► http://www.indysworld.com/80s/general/wheels/wheels.html Kind Regards.

  9. This is the List of Parts on the Photo, for the Timin' Belt Service on the "KiaStein": ► Part Nº: 24312 2Y000 = Timing Belt. ► Part Nº: 24450 2Y000 = Tensioner. ► Part Nº: 24810 2X700 = Idler. ► Part Nº: 0K013 10602 = Camshaft Seals. (Two Needed) ► Part Nº: 0B3C7 10602B = Crankshaft Seal. The only part that I have not obtained, is this: ► Part Nº: 21310 2Y011 = Oil Pump. Kind Regards.
  10. Back on the "Timing Belt Service" topic, I finished to obtain all the needed parts; as you can see in this Photo:
  11. Gotta Love a Weber Carb, mounted in an Original Weber intake Manifold!
  12. I only needed to clean their contacting surfaces and place them there, very Tight. Voilá! ... Problem: Solved. Kind Regards.
  13. And I Found the Culprit! The thin plastic that has the electrical tracks, behind the instrument cluster, sends the Power, Ground and info for the Tachometer, also to the Speedometer and the rest of the Gauges, via long Screws, that touches those tracks and sends the signal to the gauges' system. Those contacting screws were Loose, very loose... ...those loose contacting screws made the Electrical False Contact.
  14. After I checked all the Exterior Wiring (at the Engine Bay), I started to Check the Interior Wiring (at the Cabin) and everything was alright. So, I decided to Remove the instrument Cluster and check it Carefully...
  15. I Fixed completely the Tachometer's failure since a week ago, but I decided to Not post here the cause / repair, until I am Completely Sure that the issue will not reappear; my Wife has been Drivin' the "KiaStein" without problems since then, and she reports that the Tachometer's failure has completely Gone. I was Right when I wrote that the Failure was Caused by an Electrical False Contact:
  16. Thank You, yes they are really Helpful, in many other areas, not only the ones related to the Wiring.
  17. Oh my God, this are Really Sad News ... ... Despite that I never met him in person, After so many years here, reading his posts, sharing information, etc... the good friendship and fellowship has been always there, and He will continue living forever somehow; every single word will live here at the Forums. My sincere deepest Condolences. Kind Regards.
  18. Sounds to me Like an Electrical False Contact, in the Grounding Wires. If both timin' belts are OK, also everything else, look at the Tachometer needle and see if that jumps every time the starter turns; if not, it worth do an ignition module test, to verify if it is good. Kind Regards.
  19. Dear Jono and Friends, Despite that Subaru sold four versions of the EJ with Distribuitor & Carburator in LADM, it became very hard to obtain replacement parts; I obtained one and sent it to USA to a Great Friend; please see the many Photos, Video and also you can download FSM scans for the Original Subaru Books, with part numbers, etc... at this Thread: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/98480-need-advice-legacy-wagon/ Also, there are Lots of Photos of many other LADM Specs Subarus, Such like the Dual Range XV Diesel, the Dual Range Impreza, etc... and Today I paid to Photobucket for extended Bandwidth, so please browse that thread and feel free to comment there. Kind Regards.
  20. The Snorkel idea is Awesome, I like the SafariWagon. Why not only take the proper angle Measurements? Kind Regards.
  21. So, have you done the EJ Swap? Will you use an adaptor plate for the EA Transmission? Or you'll use the EJ Transmission along the Carbureted + Disty EJ18 engine? Did the Renault Radiator fit there? KInd Regards.
  22. Yes, the LADM (Latin American Domestic Market) Got Carb + Disty EJ engines. Follow the above posted link by Monstaru, for more details & pictures. Also, certain countries in Europe received Carbureted EJ engines, There is another USMB member from ireland that has one, see: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/139543-my-l-series-from-ireland/ Kind Regards.
  23. I understand that! ... I also went with a Broken EA82 Head on my Backpack in 1995, searching for a Repair Shop that could weld aluminium... I ended buying two new heads (Gen 3) at the Dealer, on that date, it was cheaper than repair the old ones; as you can see, here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/122276-the-bumble-beast/?p=1115734 Kind Regards.
