I forgot to say the Nissan 240sx 15" alloys also has the Proper Offset, Those are 15 X 6 with 40 offset. I have one of those as Spare Tire, see: I posted about this incident, here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/99881-what-have-you-done-to-your-soobie-lately-please-post-in-here-and-keep-it-going/page-205?do=findComment&comment=1141661 Kind Regards.

Twin Turbo EA82? If the Heads aren't improved, it might experience head cracks very often; I bet it is not very reliable... By the way, what for is the toothed gear in the front of the ea82 on the upper photo? Kind Regards. -
Yes, newer cars are Expensive to Fix... Decades ago, when my "BumbleBeast" had its first Head Gasket problem, it was "Blowing" outside the engine the coolant, only at Operating Temperatures (warm), from a point under the engine, where the head meets the block, nearby the Exhaust port... the only way I could find that, was to crawl under the Subie to inspect the engine when it was off and cool; then I found a very "Clean" area right there: the Hot coolant coming out, came as Vapor which cleaned said Area, and that is the Reason why it was very Hard to find the leakage. Maybe it is the same case happening with Ned? Good Luck! Kind Regards.

Also I hope so... In honduras, schools start at February and ends at early november, so from mid november to January are vacation time... I needed the Money to pay the Tuition of my Li'l Daughter, for her School... Also, as I mentioned in Post Nº 18 of this thread, I changed the Lug Pattern, from 4X140 to 4X114.3 since year 1996 without issues; that is the reason Why, any 114.3 rims will fit right on my "BumbleBeast" See pictures here: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/122276-the-bumble-beast/?do=findComment&comment=1044257 Kind Regards.

I Hope I could buy a New set of 15" rims + Tires soon... In honduras, schools start at February and ends at early november, so from mid november to January are vacation time... Facing hard times lately... (New Taxes in Honduras) ...I've to sell the Almost New set of Wheels (15" Rims + 25" Tires) that I obtained for my Beloved Subaru "BumbleBeast" some time ago... It was a Good Deal, so I can't complain... The buyer almost paid the price I paid for everything, minus a percentage equal to the amount I wear from the Tires; and as a Plus, he gave me his old steel rims (Also 15" with 25" tires) from his Hyundai Elantra. What I Discovered is Nice: The Hyundai Elantra's 15" Rims has exactly the Same Offset than the Subaru's Original 13" Rims!!! ... Look at the Pictures:

XT Ride Height Question
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to rlpete's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
If so and if you want to get a 2" Taller Rear than it is right now; you could remove the Stock Coil Springs and install there Front Honda Accord's Coil Springs; for further info, part numbers & Photos, follow this web link: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/106807-improved-shock-absorbers-and-spring-coils-on-loyales/ Kind Regards. -

Tons of Stickers, a five Lug Swap, lifted + Custom Bumpers... to deliver pizzas? I Bet that the owner uses it for offroadin' on weekends. Like I use my "BumbleBeast" Kind Regards. -
Seems like you got my comment in a wrong way... let me Explain: The Car that was sold in year 1994 as "Mazda B2300" is in fact, a rebadged Ford Ranger with that 2.3L engine. I Meant that was NOT really a Mazda; the Real Mazdas had Different Model Nomenclatures, Such like: B1800, B2000, B2200, B2500 and B2900. By the way, that Pinto 2.3L engine, also came available in the Mazda Sundowner, which was rebadged backwards, As Ford Courier ... as you can see Photos & Data, Here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/123646-my-1978-ford-courier/ Kind Regards.

The '90's Ranger 2.3 is also known as Mazda B2300, I Agree, is an Awesome car, with a 2.3L 4 Cyl. engine and eight Sparkplugs; plus a Very Tall Body... I've seen them here working hard with more than 500K miles on the Clock and still working... also is very easy to fit a very oversized tires under them for increased ground clearance... Kind Regards.

HELP! Tac/rpm acting weird (scaring me!)
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to 82GLWag's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
That issue is Known as "Dieseling" and only happens on hot engines, on cars whose carburetors doesn't have the fuel cutting solenoid, or it is failing / disconnected; in example: if you did a Weber Carb Swap, webers -usually- doesn't comes with such solenoid, so fuel will continue flowing, despite that you turned off the ignition, the fuel gets burned by hot spots inside the combustion chambers. Kind Regards. -

Have you ever felt the Seat on your Subie like a Rocking Chair? The Subaru EA82 GL has a Complicated Air Conditioner Distribution Design, which includes a couple of Ducts under the Front Seats, one ends there to deliver Air to the Rear Passenger's Feet, and the other Duct delivers Air to the Rear Doors' Windows; this last Duct, passes through one of the Front seat supports, weakening its structure somehow. The Weakest Front Seat Support, is the one located at the Rear of them, next to the point where the Seat Belt Anchors; there is the A/C Duct passing in the middle of said Support. I've seen some local Subies with those Supports Broken, especially the Driver's side one, and the owners didn't knew the reason why their Driver's side seat was loose and / or way too much reclined to the Back... (when said support is not only Broken, but also Deformed for using it like that) ...I Bet that many Subie owners could have same issue on their cars, without even knowing, nor completely noticing it. So, that support on the Driver's Side in my Subaru "BumbleBeast" has broken for the Second Time... I Know: I am a Big Guy, 6' tall and over 110 Kg driving an Old Subie Wagon with Hardened "Reinforced" suspension, so the autogenous welding I did a couple of years ago to simply put that broken support together, will never last too much... so this was the Perfect Time to Reinforce that Seat Support and permanently getting Rid from that problem.

I made it to work with the Lower, two-plate adapter that came with the Redline-Weber conversion Kit, but once I removed that two-plate adapter for the Stronger, more taller Transdapt one, I had to get rid of all that Stuff, because the increase tallness will never let it work, unless you increase the tallness of the Vacuum operated accelerator actuator... Kind Regards.

fuel sender wiring ?
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to peacewize's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Be Careful! The sender units sends Ground (-) Signal to the Gauge, The Power Signal (+) is given by the instrument Cluster.
