Awesome! I have 205/60 R 15 (25") tires due to the Mixed drive I need to do with my "BumbleBeast" which is 60% on road (Daily Driver during week days) and 40% Offroading (On Weekends' mountain trips with my Family). Kind Regards.

Thank you for Sharing your experiences with that Mod! Could I Ask, How tall are your Subie's Tires? My Subaru "BumbleBeast" has 25" tires, And measures 28" tallness, to the Wheel well's top from the Floor, carrying some Load. (Such as a Full sized spare tire, three tool boxes, a medium sized fire extinguisher, an amplified SubWoofer, etc...) You're Welcome, my Friend. Kind Regards.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to johnw's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Yes I know the EA82T could be reliable if you take care of all the Rubber Hoses, etc... but I wrote that because at Facebook, he wrote this: So, when I posted that, I was wondering about reliability and that setup on a EA82T ... I knew his sedan is Turbo too, but I bet it ran lower boost all these years. Kind Regards. -
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to johnw's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I Agree, Also there are some parts that are model specific to the Coupe, such like rear hatch door and window's glasses, which are rare and hard to find; and as I told you on Facebook, despite that the EA82 is a reliable engine, the Turbo EA82 is Not. Kind Regards. -
That's very True, automotive wirings are better soldered together, and correctly isolated. In my own experience, I Changed those Plastic sockets with Heat Proof Ceramic ones around more than a Decade ago, no problems nor melted sockets since then. Look 'em here: ~► http://www.amazon.com/Amico-Ceramic-Headlight-Harness-Sockets/dp/B0097AA478 Kind Regards.

1988 Subaru Wagon Dist Rotor
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to Maximus97's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
According to the info on this web site ~► Here, the Subaru Distribuitor OEM part Nº 22100-AA450 was used on the Subaru EA82 Turbo MPFi during years 1986 to 1988, and its Rotor Nº RT28-005 made by Unitex (Aftermarket Brand) interchanges with the one on the Distribuitor found on the Isuzu made, Chevy Spirit 84 ASA Have you Tried e-Bay? I Found the Rotors at RockAuto.com, but there are different Distribuitors used on the EA82 engine; so be wise to choose the right one; Here are some links found at RockAuto, as examples: ~► http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=46449&cc=1501777 ~► http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=930619&cc=1501777 Kind Regards. -

Well, seeing too many Rusted & Ruined old-school subies makes me sad... Why don't better Post the "Monsterized" ones, like this: Not too much "Subaru" left on this one; according to the Description posted on Facebook: "Toyota frame and running gear. 5.29, locked, dual cases,40 inch swampers, yj jeep springs all the way around getting ready for the diesel swap and three link in front with coil overs." Kind Regards. -
Absolutely True, it kicks on Above the Half mark, because normally there is a Mechanical Fan spinnin' all the time the engine is running. That is Why I searched and found a slightly Cooler temp thermoswitch which is a Direct fit for the Subaru, but it came from another car's brand; it is necessary when you plan to run with electric Fan(s) Only, getting rid of the Mechanical fan. Here's the Complete Writeup with Photos & Part Numbers: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/125754-easy-guide-on-five-steps-to-twin-electric-fans-swap/ Kind Regards.

THIS IS NOT A SUBARU!!! -
I Really Like that Rubber "Spoiler" it fits better the Third Gen Leone (EA82) design than the Older "Metallic Wing" which was inherited from the Second Gen Leone (EA81) era. Could you post here, Please, Photos of your Digital Climate Control Unit? Without counting on FWD \ 4WD / AWD availability, the Automatic transmissions offered on the EA82 were three (3) as far as I Know: ► One is the Common Three Speed known as 3AT ► Also the Optional electronic controlled 4EAT Designed by JATCO (Japan Automatic Transmissions Company) This transmission was used in production vehicles First on the Subaru EA82 GL-10 and then in the first gen Nissan Pathfinder; Being successful, the 4EAT were modified to suit other vehicles, such like the Legacy, some Fords, mazdas and Kias, (re-named as F-4EAT) etc... The Different car makers does its own design changes and gear ratio differences, but the Original design idea persist, and is still in production for certain models up to date. More Info Here: ~► http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Subaru_transmissions#4EAT ► The Third was a Rare Variant of the 4EAT named ACT-4-E-4AT available in the JDM and other select markets for the Subaru EA82 Turbo models known as the "RX-II" (Sedan) and the "GT-II" (Wagon); those were the Top of the Line then, and could be ordered with such digital controls on the Dashboard, as you can see on the photo below: See this Sales Brochure for details, there you could read "ACT-4-E-4AT" on Transmissions' list for Automatic, and "4WD-5MT" for the Manual, look under "1.8 GT/II": Their Digital intrument Clusters has the Automatic Transmission Gears on their Display, Plus the Dual Range (LO) 4WD light, as you can see on this Photo: Could this be a Confirmation of what Lukas Wrote around ten years ago, of Dual Range Automatic Subarus in Austria? As you can see Here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/26031-1993-loyale-4wd-auto/?p=211122 Such GT-II model Featured a Speed control Knob for the Intermitent Wiper Blades: And Manually Adjustable Struts: I Bet those Features could be at Top of the List on the Rarest optional equipment on a EA82 Subaru; isn't it? Kind Regards.

I've seen in other threads, Photos of Switches for the "Third Eye" Lamps, a feature for the Second Gen Leone / Brat; the emblem at the middle of the Grille, tilted to show a Hiding Halogen; these are some of said Switches for such lamp, also known as Passing Lamp: But the Day I found a Subaru GL-10 Turbo Sedan on a Local Junk Yard, I grabbed many of its parts, but something interesting is that in the Place were normally is placed the Switch for the Rear Gate on the Wagons, this sedan had this one: With same Symbol than the Third Eye ones above. The Question is: Does this Switch found on a EA82T Sedan, powered the Factory Under Bumper Halogens? Kind Regards.

Kia Sephia Sporty
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to Loyale 2.7 Turbo's topic in Non Soob Cars and Bikes Discussion
While I'm Waiting for those parts to come, I've done two manual adjustments to the Rear Drum Brakes' on my Wife's Sephia, and I'm about to do a third one ... seems like each time the adjustment lasts shorter times. Kind Regards.
