  1. Great Photo of the Subaru Meeting, NED does look Very Nice & Old-School between them. I Like it! Kind Regards.
  2. You're Not Hijackin' the Thread. The Idea of this thread is to Share your Experiences, info & Photos with such LED Bulbs Retrofitting, so your Posts & Photos are Welcome. Now I'll Love to see how the Whole instrument cluster Looks Like, Lit in the Night! Kind Regards.
  3. About this: I've seen Rear LSD Differentials on Gen II Leones (EA81's) with 3.889 ... ... "Almost" 3.90, isn't it? Kind Regards.
  4. Well, I've seen many Subaru Conversions on VW's ... ... Beetle, Carmann Ghia, and Vanagon, there's even a Forum in USMB about those, Here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/forum/29-vanagon-conversion-discussion/ But I'll Like to See Photos of your EA82 engined Bug. The Thermo Switch on the Radiator of the Non-Turbo EA82 is Designed to Open (turn On) when temperature reaches 203º F (95º C) and it Closes (Shuts Off) when Temperature Downs to 194º F (90º C) More info on this Thread, ~► Here. Kind Regards.
  5. Yes, I Run my "BumbleBeast" @ 20º without any problems. Kind Regards.
  6. You're Welcome! Also I Like such Small Cars, but they're pretty Scary to Drive here, in my Li'l & Crazy Country. In honduras there are many two Cyl. Subarus, like the First & Second Gen REX, the Sambar Van & Bus... these models were available in Great Britain? Kind Regards.
  7. Nice Project! I've Seen Subaru EJ Engine Swaps in many Non-Subaru Cars... Remember the 2 Cyl engines from the Subaru Rex, Sambar, etc? ... ... and yes, the Flat Twelve: ... One of those was Sold on e-Bay some years ago ... If he want to Keep the Saab as Front Wheel Drive only, an easier and Cheapier solution is to Use the EJ Gearbox from an Early Legacy that came Factory as FWD only. Kind Regards.
  8. Thank you for your kind replies... I don't recall to see another Distribuitor with a Rotor Held in Place by a Screw, only those Hitachis. I Don't Like Hitachi Stuff too Much, from Carburetors to Hard Disk Drives... Hitachis are problematic stuff, especially with age. Sorry again... this time for Hijack this thread. Kind Regards.
  9. Sorry... that wasn't my intention. When I first readed this thread's title, I was thinking about a Dying ignition Module, So I was about to suggest this Writeup on the Subject: ~► Here. But I'm Glad that it was an Easy Fix... the Screw that Holds the Rotor... I was surprised that I Never think about those... Kind Regards.
  10. Awesome! My Carb'ed EA82 Subie came with the Nippon Denso Distribuitor, No Screws to holding the Rotor like the Hitachi Distribuitors. Kind Regards.
  11. Lol! ... ... Yes, it works fine for me. The small piece of Metal can be removed, no problem, see: Then, you'll need to install the proper Return Spring, which is available at the Subaru Dealer, and is Cheap: The Facebook link doesn't work for me neither, I Believe that he must add you as his friend in order to gain access to his private photo album(s) Kind Regards.
  12. You're Welcome! There are some of those Small Subaru 360's in USA, also some USMB Members owns them, like the World Famous "Stanley, the Wonder Van" See Here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/113668-meet-stanley-the-wonder-van/ Also you might like to see a Video of some 360's in a Mini Cars' Meeting: Kind Regards.
  13. Yes Timothy, The Earlier Subarus where all based on the 360, some variants from the 360 basic sedan where the Young, the young SS, (From Super Sports which had a slightly Bigger engine and partially removable soft roof) the Maia (with a Bigger 450 engine), the 360 "Lotus" also included a Convertible (Few where made) then came the 360 Wagon, the 360 Pick Up and the Famous 360 Van (Micro Bus) in which the Tortoise was Based. Late 360's included the "Automatic Clutch" feature mated to a three speed gearbox. All of them came with 10" rims and yes, the Lugs where near the Rim lip as you noticed, it is How ALL the 360's where made. More info & Photos on the "Strange & Weird Subaru Stuff" Thread. Look at the Above posted Link. Kind Regards.
  14. I had similar situation, but istead of Trans-X, my Wife's car Automatic Transmission was somehow "Fixed" with a ATF Flush, Fresh ATF + Lucas Transmission Fix. Two Years and the Thing is Working Awesome, Holding Strong and Shiftin' Smooth as Silk. More info on this Post: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/101718-kia-sephia-sporty/page-5?do=findComment&comment=1106242 Kind Regards.
  15. The Mini Brats in the Photos of this Thread, are Beyond Awesome! You're a Lucky Guy, owning Two mini Brats! Kind Regards.
  16. ...also it could be some bad Grounding to the ECU ... or the ECU is failing somehow...
  17. Awesome! Low Battery! ... Try Jumping it. Kind Regards.
  18. The Hatchback, Yes... Up to 1989. See: ~► Here. Kind Regards.
  19. The Electric Fan also aids to Cool the Engine when the Temp Gauge reaches near 3/5 in order to Prevent Overheating; so I Kindly suggest you to throw it Back there; That's the reason for a thermo switch on the Radiator. Kind Regards.
  20. I Know it is Not a Subaru, but I Like to Share few Photos of some of the Many LED Bulb Retrofitting I've Done in other Cars' instrument Clusters, in Example: This one went from This: To This:
  21. Remember that LED Bulbs does Have Polarity (+/-) So, if they doesn't Lit, Remove their Socket from the Instrument Cluster, Turn it 180º and place it there again.
  22. About This: Remember that LED Bulbs does Have Polarity (+/-) So, if they doesn't Lit, Remove their Socket from the Instrument Cluster, Turn it 180º and place it there again.
