  1. Sorry for hijack this Thread, but could I Ask: Why don't you buy a Double Row one online? In my case, I run my "BumbleBeast" with a "Made in Honduras" Full Metal Radiator, Custom made in a Local Radiator Shop... maybe there are some Radiator Shops in Finland that could make for you, a Custom double Row one; They use the Frame from the original one. ____________________________________________________________________ For the Original Poster: If a Radiator Flush doesn't solve the Problem, you might also consider to take that Radiator to a Local Radiator shop for a Deep Cleansing, Is that a Double Row Radiator? ... If not, also you might consider to Upgrade it to a Double Row one. Kind Regards.
  2. You're Welcome my Friend. I Read long time ago, that the the Steering Shaft from the Forester is a Direct replacement, But Foresters has two different Lenghts; you shall try the Longer one (I believe from the second gen) Kind Regards.
  3. Yes, I Agree that the Radiator could have gunk buildup; a chemical cleaning is Suggested in those cases when the Temp becomes Hotter as Speed is increased. Well, the Usual temperature behaviour in the Needle, vary in the EA82's as Follows: ► EA82's with factory Single Row Radiator: Needle around the Half. ► EA82's with Factory Double Row Radiator: Needle Around one Quarter. Kind Regards.
  4. There are some EA81's (Second Gen Subaru Leone) with the GL10 badge still running here, in my country. Also there are some in USMB, see: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/109236-1984-subaru-gl-10-in-great-condition/ Kind Regards.
  5. Beyond Awesome! It is a Very Good Idea to do a Complete engine Reseal, also to port Heads and intake, and powder coating everything; The five lug swap is very Clean too... I Like the way you work. I have a Question: The Rear Diff from the XT6 should match the STi Trans, How about the Numbers? Kind Regards.
  6. Yes, I Understand the Feeling, sometimes I Suffer severe Gout Foot Attacks, During those days, my Wife's Automatic car is my only choice to drive. Kind Regards.
  7. The Above statements are True: Deliverin' Pizzas in a Manual Car could be Hard, Also I Like the Idea of Takin' and Fixin' the Already 4EAT Subie ... maybe you could keep both. Kind Regards.
  8. Yes, as wrote about that on ~► This Thread: First I ran my "BumbleBeast" without the Surrounding Frame for that Fan, which mounts to the Radiator... Then I Switched to Twin Electrical Fan Setup, as you can Read: ~► Here. Kind Regards.
  9. You're Welcome! Is easier if you remove all the the Plastic covers from under the Dash, and also remove the whole Fuse Panel and Look Up, above. The Simple Relay Swap could be good idea, if: The ND Relays does have the Imput / output Lines in the Same Places than the Subaru original Relays. The base where the Relay does plug, isn't burned due to heat / age \ false contacts. Good Luck! Kind Regards.
  10. All your answers are Here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/87523-how-to-swap-the-old-roundie-relays-with-standard-bosch-relays/ Kind Regards.
  11. Nice "BugEye" Impreza! JDM Lights on a USDM Car will point the Light Beam in the Wrong Direction, which could be Dangerous due to Blinding the incoming Driver's sight. Kind Regards.
  12. Welcome! ... Do you own a Subaru, isn't it?
  13. Well, I just came home from a Weekend Trip to my Parents' Home and while I was talking with my Dad (Who originally purchased New the Subie, in 1985) I asked about that Stuff; what he said is that some of the emissions control stuff was removed here at the Local Subaru Dealer, because with time driving here in Honduras, the car somehow got "Poisoned" with Lead in the Gasoline, so he took it to the Dealer's Repair shop and they removed some stuff from the Engine Bay... I was very young then so I don't remember very clear about that. We agreed that maybe those where removed that time. Kind Regards.
  14. Yes ... Thank You! I knew I'd seen it somewhere but I couldn't remember... Kind Regards.
  15. Thank you for the Description, I'll follow this thread for your Updates. Could I Ask what is the Meaning of the "Boring Ol' Five"? Kind Regards.
  16. ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/138539-skagit-river-bridge/ ...and I thought that such situations only happened in Honduras... Glad that Nobody was Hurt. Kind Regards.
  17. I think I've seen this Modified Brat around Here... It is from Guatemala, Central America, very Very near to Honduras (We're Neighbour countries) Also, I'll like to know Background info on that "Flyin' Engine" Drawing, it is Nice! Kind Regards.
  18. Great! ... ... Photos Please, We Love Photos here. Could you Describe you Experiences with the BRZ So Far? Kind Regards. ________________________________________________ Edit: I Found your Description: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/138572-my-breeze/ Thanks!
  19. Depending on How Huge is the Broken area, this Idea might be Helpful: Here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/70589-idea-to-re-thread-in-aluminium/
  20. My 1985 Carburated EA82 "BumbleBeast" came without that Stuff, and it came running from California (USA) to Honduras. Could I Ask the reason why you hate your '86 Carbed EA82? Kind Regards.
  21. Two of Them, one each side... so there is one for each head, isn't it? How common is that Air Suction Valve Stuff on Carburated EA82's? I Believe it should vary from State to State, according to each State's emission's Regulations... I've seen Lots of EA82's and I don't recall to have seen that on them, more usual in EA81's? Kind Regards.

  23. A Beautiful Gen I Subaru Rex, between a SsangYong Double Cab Pick Up and a Nissan... Somehow looks like a Parkin' lot in a Shopping Mall of my Country, we have pretty much the Same Cars I was Following a Two Cyl. Rex the other day, said: "Subaru 700" Behind... Those are getting scarse since the Lack of Dealer & Aftermarket support, as you can Read: ~► Here. Kind Regards.
