  1. In the Subject of Redrillin' the Hubs, take a Look at this Thread: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/131565-sjr-full-time/ Kind Regards.
  2. I've realized that my Dead 2.7 Wagon project (More info: ~► Here) gains more attention than my Runnin' "BumbleBeast" At SOA Magazine: At SOA's Facebook Cover: And Jalopnik: Someone Reposted this, ~► Here All those were Unexpected Honor, which I'm more than Thankful! Kind Regards.
  3. No Intake Manifolds here... I came across of few Gen I Legacy (Liberty) for sale, Those have their EJ engines with Stock Carb + Disty Setup and Dual Range EJ Transmissions, But you shall buy the entire vehicle... There's No one in a Junk Yard. Kind Regards.
  4. ...or Redrill a 5X100 as well. I redrilled mines to 4X114.3 more than a Decade and a half ago and they work flawlessly since then. Also Renault, but I don't know about their availability in USDM. Kind Regards.
  5. The 1.6L "Loyales" are pretty popular outside USA... ... Those are Fat Case EA71. ... These Cars came 1.3L (EA65) 1.6L (EA71) and 1.8L (EA81 and EA82) The Israeli member had a EA65 engined Subaru Coupe, which means it is a 1300 (1.3L) engine, another popular Displacement in LADM (Latin American Domestic Market) ... Here's her Thread, with Photos of that EA65 Coupe: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/73220-pics-of-my-subaru-1986-coupe/ Kind Regards.
  6. Well, also Legacy Sedans came with Factory Rear Wipers too...
  7. So, you want to have Rear Wiper in your Sedan? This is How the JDM / LADM \ EUDM Luxury Sedans has it mounted from Factory: I Bet that is Doable, but you migh do some Custom Work and Twisting on the Mechanism taken from a Wagon. Or find a original Sedan one on internet. Kind Regards.
  8. Yes, Earlier models' Mirrors are Different. Kind Regards.
  9. Yep, that's True... but Outside the USA only. The Limited editions of the Gen III Subaru Leone (a.k.a: EA82 or Loyale) was mainly sold with the EA71 engine in other markets, such like the LADM (Latin American Domestic Market) etc... Also one of the Limited editions known as the "Maia FF" and the "Maia II" came with EFi EA71. One USMB Member had a TBi intake Manifold for the JDM EA71, which is Shorter than the EA81 one. There are Pictures here of that, somewhere... About the Maia FF and Maia II Versions, there are Pictures Here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/122906-the-awesome-older-generation-picture-thread/?p=1137577 Kind Regards.
  10. In my own Humble Opinion, a Good Weber Carb, properly tuned, is one of the Best things that you could put in a Carburated EA engine, especially if the Original old carburator is in bad condition; the Weber helps with the Low end torque and has better acceleration; but you must respect the emmissions regulations in your area. Beside the 32/36 Weber, which is Progressive (The High Stage opens when the Low Stage reached the Half Opening) there are some people who retrofitted the 38/38 DGAS which is Synchronous, (Both Stages opens and Closes all the Time together) but that last one isn't intended for Daily Driving use... is for Racing purposes, if you use it as daily driver, Gas Mileage will be an issue; while the Gas Mileage done with the 32/36 is close to Stock Specs. Kind Regards.
  11. The Rear Shock absorbers are Weak, in my Own opinion... I Drive my 2" Lifted "BumbleBeast" with 15" Wheels also, in a mixed driving, 60% on City (During Week days) and 40% Offroading (on Weekends) with the Following Setup: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/106807-improved-shock-absorbers-and-spring-coils-on-loyales/ Since many years ago, without issues. Kind Regards.
  12. Yes, as you can see : ~► Here. Well, I pull the Zip Ties with Clamps, while hold the Square with a flat Screwdriver tip. Kind Regards.
  13. I've seen EA82's with much more than 600K and still Running... I Agree that Running the engine 'till it eventually dies, is the way to Go. Kind Regards.
  14. So, it was in fact somehow "Drowning" in Gasoline, but due to Not Enough Air... I'm glad that you found the Culprit, and I Kindly Suggest you to Follow the Good Advice posted by rdweninger adding that you must check the Timing Belts and Tensioners, if you don't know their age nor mileage, is better Idea to change those too. Kind Regards.
  15. I used to Run my Subies with 205/60 R-13" long years ago ... Certain Small Pick Up Trucks in the LADM (Latin American Domestic Market) Came with 205/80 R-13" Tires: ~► http://www.ityre.com/en/tyres/catalog/bfgoodrich/size/673/ But those are getting scarse this days... Kind Regards.
  16. Holy old Thread Resurection Batman! ... almost Ten years Between Posts! Sorry for this useless post, but I had to write that ... ... Kind Regards.
  17. Holy Cow! ... I thought I had bad Luck when I found that the Previous Owner of my Wife's car, Welded the Timing Belt's Sprocket to the Cranckshaft... and it was a Very Bad Welding that burned the Seal behind it, lettin' oil to Drip, and the Main pulley wiggled so Bad, that I had to Swap the entire Engine's Long Block... Why don't you try to Obtain a Good Used Cat + O2 Sensor? Maybe someone here could have those for sale... Kind Regards.
  18. Welcome! Sounds to me like if the car is somehow "Drowning" in Gasoline when it opens the Higher stage (Secondary) on the Carburator, and I am assuming that your model has Carburator, isn't it? ... Usually the common factor that could be causing this issue, is related to bad ignition timing; Sometimes when one of the Timin' Belts is one teeth out of timing, the EA82 tends to act like that. So, I Kindly suggest you to start by Checking the Proper ignition Timing and cleaning the Carburator, if it is a Carb'd model. Good Luck! Kind Regards.
  19. Yep... If you installed LED Bulbs instead the incandescent T-10 and T-5 Behind the instrument cluster, you'll need to install a single Resistor Behind the the Power Input (12V +) just before it accesses the Dimmer Knob. Kind Regards.
  20. You're Welcome! Well, my "BumbleBeast" still has the original ones, and they has the Flat area on their base, like the Bigger ones. Kind Regards.
  21. Maybe the Answer is: Fun! Take an Old Boxy 80's car which already is Much more Fun to Drive than any newer car, and Over-Power it; the Result is a pretty Scary Funnier Car to Drive, plus the Swap is a Great and very entertaining Mechanical Excercise; somehow about to be a true artwork of craftmanship; while modding a New car which already has those features, isn't Fun at all... Kind Regards.
  22. Thank you for the Video! I Really Like your Nice Impreza Wagon and all the Mods You've done! About the extremly brilliant Dashboard after Led Swap, Have you Used the Dimmer Knob ... ... ? Kind Regards.
