  1. It must be a Stickin' Float Sensor for the Brake Fluid on the Master Cylinder's Reservoir... I Kindly Suggest you to Check it. Kind Regards.
  2. I Have Noticed that on certain EA82's that I've serviced and I Found that they have issues such like Restricted Exhaust (Partially Clogged Cats / Mufflers) the Stock Craptachi Carb Dirty... even once I found an EFi EA82 that was running like Crap, (Dirty injectors) but that issues were caused (Beside the minor Exhaust Problems) by things such like ignition Timing misplaced and / or worn sparkplugs plus Dirty fuel Systems. I Fixed 'em with a Proper Tune up, new Sparkplugs + Wires, a Fuel System Cleansing plus catalytic converter Removal... The 3EAT Robs a Little from the Engine's Performance, but The Weberized EA82 trend to be more Rev happy. Kind Regards.
  3. Yes... She Lives in PERU and works at a Zone in Lima's Downtown known as "La Parada" (The Bus Stop) where many purse Robbers have run with her Purse, so when She looks one approaching, she does her "Helicopter" Movement with her Purse and the Robbers goes away... _______________________________ What have I Done to my Subie Lately? Well, I have prepared many Small Pieces to Paint and also I Already Painted an Undercoat and all the Undercarriage of my BumbleBeast. Pics Soon... Kind Regards.
  4. Holy Cow! I have an aunt that always carry a Huge sledgehammer head on her purse for Self Defense too...
  5. The Same on the EA82's ... Disconnected Return Line, just the Fuel in. The Main Difference between the EA82's and the EA81's procedure must be related to the Adapter plates... EA81's are easier because there is no Funky two plates adapters to do that Swap. Kind Regards.
  6. Well, I Suggest to use it once per Year, as you can Read in my Writeup: But Yes, you're Right about to be Careful in Motors with Huge Buildup... I Agree and Also I've seen that Scenario once, in a Toyota "Model F" Bus years ago... Kind Regards.
  7. Beautiful! ... I Really Like your Clean and Well Done Job. Also I Like the Risin' Sun on the Air Filter Box, Looks So Japanese! Kind Regards.
  8. Not all the Gen III Leones (a.k.a: GL's / DL's \ Loyale's ... etc) came Factory with the EA82 Engine. USA Got Almost all of them with the EA82 Engine but few went to the USA with Factory EA81 (the First ones, like the 1984 US Ski Team Subaru, which had already the Loyale Shaped Body, as you can see, ~► : ) Latin American / Caribbean \ Asian Markets got that Subaru Body model with these engines: - EA82T and the EA82 engines (1.8L) were Luxury Options only, then the... - EA81 (1.8L) was the "Standard" engine on the GL's but the DL's came Standard with the... - EA71 (1.6L) engine (Fat Case, some were EFi, there is another caribbean USMB Member with one of those), and also you was able to obtain then the DL Sedans with the... - EA65 (1.3L) Engine outside USA... I've seen many loyales and coupes like that in Latin America / Caribbean; but also searchin' in the internet, I've seen Photos of those in israel and other asian countries, also in Australia. If you Look at his Subaru's Photos, you'll Notice the Manual Crank Windows, which means it is a DL; those usually has a Sticker in the Back that reads: "1.6L Automatic". Here is a Picture I've take with my Cellphone while Driving behind one of Those at Comayagüela Citie's Downtown; I was in a Traffic Jam: Kind Regards.
  9. I Was about to buy a Lada 2105 (Luxury Edition) in year 1995, it had the Common Lada Fail: The Timing Chain Tensioner Broke on a Highway, so it had Timing Damage... But the Owner asked too much money then and I Forgot about that; and During the Hurricane Mitch, in 1998, the Lada dealer was Erased (Literally) From the Face of Earth... I Don't Know how some Ladas went to Oregon, USA: http://www.oldparkedcars.com/2012/04/1988-lada-riva-2107-1500s-sedan.html ____________________________ Back on Topic: Did your Subie's EA71 Engine Started? Kind Regards.
  10. Thank you For Sharing! "Old Parked Cars" Looks like the Cars we Have here Around, Rust isn't a Problem here. Kind Regards.
  11. Thank You So Much GD! ... I Really Appreciate your Kind Words. And You're Right, I Don't have Anybody around to Speak English so my Pronunciation is Funny Sometimes, because I Learned English Only by Myself. Kind Regards.
  12. Awesome! I Still Have Many of my Toy Cars from my Childhood... Now my Baby Daughter Play with some of Them. I will Love to Own an Old-School Subaru Toy, I Only have Few Impreza Toys that I Obtained Recently Kind Regards.
  13. Thank you for Sharing. Some of Us Already Know Ram... http://ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showpost.php?p=1100901&postcount=1355 ...Great Modifications, I Only Know one Subaru Brat that Runs with Ram Engines' Modified Heads. But the Whole Long Block is Expensive... Kind Regards.
  14. Please check the Writeup on the Followin' Link, it is about Motor Oils... I Did my Homework Look here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=130661 Feel Free to Post here your feedback. Kind Regards.
  15. Don't forget that a Tested OK Fusible Link could still be the Culprit due to Corrosion on the Fusble Link's Contacts in the Box. I Had that Issue, the Fusible Links were Good but the Contacts on the Fusible Link's Box were Rusted, so they really didn't Worked. I Ended Bypassing the Fusible Links more than a Decade ago... and the Thing works Great since then. So I Kindly Suggest to Take out each Fusible Link and beside Checkin' them, check their Contacts on the Box. If your Fusible Link's Box has Rusted Contacts, you can Swap it with another Good One. Kind Regards.
  16. Thank You! ... I'll Paint more Li'l Things -but in Hammered Black- This Weekend. Kind Regards.
  17. Same Here... You cannot imagine How much I've researched all these years... I Always do the Search thing before asking Questions and I Ask only if something isn't clear enough. Now I'm in the Same Boat of doing a "Definitive EA82 Rear Parking Brake" as this Thread's Title says, so I want to Thank you all for the Ideas given here. Kind Regards.
  18. Really Nice Wagon... I Like it! I Agree, Absolutely. I Did an H.I.D. conversion with Dual Beam in Natural (Yelowish) Colour in my BumbleBeast, it Works Awesome and I Did that without retrofitting Projectors, so it is H.I.D. on the Original Lenses. (Some Imprezas came with H.I.D. Like That) The Low Beam ensures that I won't Blind the incoming Driver. Kind Regards.
  19. Yes, and the interesting part in my BumbleBeast's Setup is that the Hose to the Oil Catch Can went too Long and Up, that the Oil hasn't reached the Catch Can Yet! ... ... but Before I installed it, there were Oil Blowin' thru the Shorter Hose. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=118239&page=3 Kind Regards.
  20. I Realized that I Must Start a Whole New Thread about Doing a Rear e-Brake Retrofitting, Because the Title of This thread is for another Idea. Kind Regards.
  21. Well... Since I Already Dismissed the Idea of the Brake Lock, My Project now is to install a Rear e-Brake System. So, I'll Need your advice in order to know: - Which way is the more Reliable / Easy \ inexpensive to - Retrofit / Swap \ Install that Rear e-Brake System. That is for EA82 BumbleBeast Wagon, which Already has Rear Disc Brakes. I Already reviewed this Thread: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=63647 and Now I am Reading This other Thread: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=128918 So I'm Almost Sure that it should be the Right Way to do my Project, but any advice will be Greatly appreciated. Kind Regards.
  22. My Wife's Dream too!... She always are "Braking" in the Passenger Seat when we are in the Caotic Traffic of the Big Cities, such like our Capital Twin Cities (Tegucigalpa and Comayagüela) or San Pedro Sula City. (They have over one Million Population each.) I am still carrying a Triangle-Shaped Solid Rock...
