  1. Yes, only keep the Timin' belts Under their life expectancy. Kind Regards.
  2. Very nice Picture, I Really Like that clean dashboard! Thank you for posting that picture. Kind Regards.
  3. That subaru is awesome! ... Nice find, Bill! I Like those subies. We got them with the two different back doors' designs here, some of those has a nice badge in cursive letters that says: "Front Wheel Drive" or "Four Wheel Drive" I have seen two in my country, here is the picture of one of them sitting in front of a house roadside... and still is driveable. Kind Regards.
  4. I was about to suggest rain X: But also there is a product that says: "Repels rain, snow, and sleet!" it is the "Aquapel" Glass treatment: http://www.amazon.com/AQUAPEL-Windshield-Glass-Repellant-TREATMENTS/dp/B001GUO2J8/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1326742382&sr=1-1 However you can try with this Snow repellent: Kind Regards.
  5. Welcome. If you already searched here, you'll find that the most common answer is "EJ it!" which means to do an engine swap, from its EA82 engine to a newer EJ (usually EJ22) Engine from Legacy / impreza. The Reason is because there's not much that can be done to improve the EA82 and less to the EA82T; also the posible upgrades to those EA engines tend to be expensive (Torque Cams, Megasquirt, etc...) for a very little gain. I Hope this will clarify to you the reason why here, if someone really wants more power on their EA engined cars, we said: "EJ it!" Kind Regards.
  6. I Agree, absolutely. Check this writeup about how to Swap those Relays: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=90403 I Hope that can Help. Kind Regards.
  7. Also it could be a Good Idea to make them for newer models too...
  8. Well... I Run my Timin' Belts totally "Naked" since a couple of months ago and no issues since then, but it is a very short time span to tell, so I kindly suggest you to read this... ...Timing Belts Facts: Now I am very careful with coolant & oil spills... Kind Regards.
  9. I am not sure but I Recall to saw Pictures of that same Car posted here, on the Forums... some time ago. Does it Belong to another USMB Member?
  10. It could have a Black or Blue Box to control the Fuel Pump... Could I ask if you already tried to wire the pump 12V (+) Directly and see if it Pumps? ... if so, Have you tried to start the Engine like That? Because it could be a Fuel pump issue. Kind Regards.
  11. There are No fusible Links under the Dash, just plain Plastic fusibles, they're on the Fusible panel, look in front of your left knee when you sit on the Driver's side, there should be a Little tab that looks like a drawer handle shaped in the Plastic, just pull it to open and Voilá.
  12. To find another ECU you can go to a Junk Yard, but first I Kindly Suggest you to Check the Fusibles that are located inside, under the Dash and check if the ECU's red light is Blinking; then you'll be Sure if the ECU is dead. Good Luck! Kind Regards.
  13. Holy Cow, I Liked this Thread because since I went from 13" to 15" Tires on my BumbleBeast, the Speedometer reads way too low. Then I Read this: And as Usual, GD is Right; so there's no way to do that on my 5MT BumbleBeast, but there are aftermarket Rate Changin' Boxes, such like This: http://www.transmissioncenter.net/speedometer_calibration_______va.htm Little in-Line Speedometer fix, known as "Ratio Adapter": There's a Thread about that: http://ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=128049 Kind Regards.
  14. I Don't understand the Question ... ... The Latin american EJ engined subies has Dual Range Transmission as an Option, Ideal for our bad roads. Also Front Wheel Drive is still available: We got that 1.5L impreza here and other Latin American countries, such as Peru, Chile, etc. Kind Regards.
  15. I'm Glad to know that you Fixed your Subie! To Post pictures here, you just need to Upload them to a free pictures hosting website, such like Flikr, Imageshack or Photobucket. Then you need to Copy the Image's URL code from that site, and then... Photobucket also provides an IMG code that you simply copy from there and Paste here, and Voilá. Kind Regards.
  16. Automotive Electricity is 'somehow' my Specialty, so I Kindly suggest you to re-do the "Big Three" wires, because by what you told here, I Believe that the Car needs some Ground reinforcement. About the Big Three: http://forums.carreview.com/showthread.php?t=678 About the Worn Relays, I Kindly suggest you to read the Followin' writeup: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=90403 But you'll need to Highlight the Text to become readable. (I explained why here) Kind Regards.
  17. My Favourite New Gen: An Honduran Legacy with Latin American Specs: It means it has Carburetor & Distribuitor on its EJ Engine also, it means that it comes Stock with Dual Range Transmission
  18. There is a Guy who went to see my 2.7 "Garage Queen" unengined subie, which now is an Empty Shell, somehow... because I've took off its best parts for my other Wagon, the "BumbleBeast" ... he asked how much do we (My dad & I) want for her... It was Hard to let it Go, but we are facing very hard times here in Honduras. Edit: As you can read ~► Here. Kind Regards.
  19. The first gen Justy is Still produced in China, but with added Trunk and Renamed as: Subaru Tutto: But Chinese Market got different Subaru things, such like: The Glamis Shifter 500 ... ... Comes with Subaru engine, and 4X140 rims: http://www.roxadmotors.com/vente-BUGGY+500+SHIFTER+GLAMIS-137.html and this is the Subaru 500 OSCA Motorcycle: http://jalopnik.com/329719/subarus-first-motorcycle-the-hs500sa Also the Chinese Impreza: The Chinese Forester: Note the Windows' frames. Both made by Chang-Feng Motors.
