  1. Oops! ... Wrong post, Let me Fix it: Those Old School Subaru Sambars 4WD are Great! I shoot the above Picture at the "Santa Lucía" (St. Lucia) Mountain Village, here in my Country. But the Suzuki Based Justys, are Old-School but aren't Subaru after all... The above pic is from italy. Kind Regards.
  2. We have Dual Range EJ Subarus, in LADM (Latin American Domestic Market) See: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/98480-need-advice-legacy-wagon/ Kind Regards.
  3. I Removed the Timing Belts' Covers on my BumbleBeast! http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=127772
  4. Here is a Link for my Writeup, I Hope it might be Helpful. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=110546 Kind Regards.
  5. Do you Like the New Ford Courier? We have it here, in Latin America but I Don't know if it is avaliable in USA. Look Here for the 2012 Model: http://www.ford.com.mx/camiones/courier/conocelo/ This are Pics of the Older models: Yes, Four Cyl. Turbo Diesels are avaliable too. Kind Regards.
  6. I know a Solution, but then the Spoiler will become a Li'l bit Thicker and heavier: Cover it with FiberGlass. I Did that to the Bumpers of my BumbleBeast and my 2.7, here you can see the Thread with Pics & Procedures: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=75156 Kind Regards.
  7. No Such thing like Auto Write... if you see 'almost' the Same Message posted on more than one thread, it is because the SAME QUESTION is asked more than once. Kind Regards.
  8. I Kindly suggest you to take it for Service, The Carbon contacts worn with age and that makes any starter to Fail... Clik... Clik... and Nothing. If you change those carbon contacts and Lightly Lube its inner shaft, You'll have an almost Brand New Starter again and in my own humble opinion, that way is better than just swap the old one with another old one, both with worn carbon contacts... Kind Regards.
  9. So, on the EA82 engines I Found that... the Pigtailed connector Thermoswitch, it designed to Kick on at 198º F the twin spades connector Thermoswitch Kicks on at 203º F the Turbo (EA82T) Thermoswitch Kicks on at 200º F ...Does anybody Know if there are any Lower temperature Thermoswitch I Can place on my Subie's Radiator? Kind Regards.
  10. I kindly suggest you to Use the Front Honda Accord Coil Springs on the Rear of your Subie, as you can read here: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=110546 Kind Regards.
  11. 4X140: Beside Subaru, Peugeot and Renault had them; is really Hard to obtain Subaru 14" wheels, those are really scarse. Peugeot & Renault made them in 13", 14" and 15". I Used to own a "Cheviot" (Made in France) 4X140 rims that came from a Renault, but mixed with other style rims, so Tired of that, I Redrilled the hubs on my Subies since ~ 1999 and has Never had a single issue with them. I Kindly suggest you to search on the Craiglist or here in the Classifieds. Kind Regards.
  12. Thank you for posting the Pictures. I Can't put the Fan in front (to Push air) of the Radiator, because my BumbleBeast has a Working A/C, so there's the Condenser; I need to put it inside. (to pull Air) Also, I see that you Hooked the Return Spring for the Weber Carb directly to the Radiator's frame; I hooked mine to the Power Steering's Metallic line, just to the Left of the connection nipple. Well, back to Topic: you're using an independent Thermoswitch and Wiring, isn't it? Your Setup Looks Good and simple, I like it! Kind Regards.
  13. Well... the 32/36 Weber carb I have on my BumbleBeast, has the inlet line placed in a Dual side part of the Carb, where one side comes closed with a screw. Seems like you can use that inlet line either way, because the carb has threaded ends in both sides; also it makes me think that you can screw a Return line in the non used side, isn't it? However, There's other option... you can find one "Y" Shaped inlet tube, those are tight "Y" and has one opening 5/16" for fuel inlet while the other opening in 1/4 for fuel return; and screw it instead of the single line Fuel inlet on the carb. But maybe the Fuel flow will not be enough with that return line. Kind Regards.
  14. It is 4X140. Beside Subaru, Peugeot and Renault had them. I Used to own a "Cheviot" (Made in France) 4X140 rims that came from a Renault, but mixed with other style rims, so Tired of that, I Redrilled the hubs on my Subies since ~ 1999 and has Never had a single issue with them. Kind Regards.
  15. I Used a Datsun to Weber adapter made by TransDapt (2107) on my EA82. I'm Sure they'll have something that Fits the EA71. I Kindly suggest you to Check their Website. Kind Regards.
  16. Thank you! Yes... I've been Workin' Hard on my BumbleBeast; I'm Glad that you Liked it. Thank you! I'll Send you a PM Kind Regards.
  17. Good Idea, Thanx! I Really want to Remove those old stud bolts from the Waterpump's Pulley and install there standard screws, but other idea is to grind them down. When I Asked if I could just Swap the Stud Bolts with Standard screws... I really Don't see why not, but I Found that they are 6 X 1.00 Pitch, no 1.25. The only thing I'm a little bit afraid is about the New Screws' deep size: Do you believe that if I install 6 X ¾ inch long Screws, will they Hit the Waterpump's back? ... How deep can I install screws there?
  18. Yes... I Love my Weberized EA82, I know it feels "UnderPowered" Sometimes but it seems like it runs with the odor of the Gasoline; and gotta Love the Boxer Rumble Sound thru the Weber!
  19. Also I Believe that to see Pictures of the Car sitting on level Ground plus Pictures of the Whole lift kit install, could be Helpful to determine if there's something missing or wrong. Kind Regards.
  20. I Kindly suggest you to check the off-road section: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=30 There are all your answers for that Questions. Kind Regards.
