The Awesome Older Generation Picture Thread
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to 6 Star's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I Always Liked the Yellow / Black Colour Combination, That's Why I've Painted both my Subaru Wagons in Yellow, but in Different Tone. But Now I Found this "black & yellow" Loyale, See: it is Named: Happy Cruiser!!! Of course it will be Happy... unless it Rains! -
Thanks for the Answer, so 27" are too big. I'm a Li'l Lost in Translation with This: You mean to Hit the inner Part of the car (that is the Floor) to fit a Bigger Tire? Well... it could be done but a Little in order to avoid deform it to a noticeable way. Could someone Post Pics, Please; of their Big Tire Setup? Kind Regards.

1987 GL: Climate control issue
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to philipmorg's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Great! There are Two Realays outside the Cabin, on the Engine's Bay, Behind the Passenger's Side Strut Tower (At the Windshield Base) Those are: One for The A/C Compressor's Electromagnetic Clutch. Another one for The A/C Condenser's Fan. Also there is another one Hiding under the Carpet that is Under the Passenger Front Seat, it is for the Power Windows. I Swapped all those Relays along the four ones on your Picture, for Bosch Standard ones Long time ago and Never had any troubles, also all that electrical Stuff Works Flawlessly. Kind Regards. -

Well, there is a V8 Sound emulation device that makes any car to Sound like a Big Fat Racing-Ready V8 as you Start / accelerate your actual engine. Look here: you can Power it on/off with that Button. Edit: also you can Read about that, here: http://www.gizmag.com/soundracer-v8-video-review/14019/ Kind Regards.

Nope, it was the The Subaru 1235 Engine, a Flat (Boxer) Twelve Cylinder engine, Not a V12: Nope, they made More... Nope. Let me Share Pictures from the Legendary "Strange & Weird Subaru Stuff" Thread: That Flat 12 engine went in a Couple of Non-Subaru Production Cars: The 1989 Koeniggsegg, a Super Coupe: the other one is the Subaru Caspita: Well, before the McLaren's Street Legal F1 Super Car, there was the Joint of Jiotto & Subaru, and This is the Result: Think on this Marvelous Super Machine, back in 1989 Even Toys of it where Made! Much More info and Photos, here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/50983-strange-and-weird-subaru-stuff/page-43?do=findComment&comment=1028342 Do you wanna Hear that Engine? ... Here is a Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBSh9qecTHQ Kind Regards. -

I have seen this Green Lowered 360 before... I remember that When I first saw this Picture: ...I Thought that the Tire will Rub the Driver's rump roast Somehow Untill I Saw This Picture: The only thing I Really Dislike, beside the little Height it has, is the VW engine, a VolksWagen Powered Subaru is somehow Backwards: Kind Regards. -

Good Question, They're Very Close to Stock offset, but 15" alloys; you can see them in the Picture attached on the link below, or by Clickin' on my Signature; those are in my "BUMBLEBEAST" Subaru. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/album.php?albumid=51&pictureid=3242 Could I Kindly ask you, Please, to give the Tire's Measurement in the Standard Format? ... I'm not Sure which size is 27" Now My Bumble Beast has 205/60 R15 I don't know how to Measure them to tell you if they're 25", 26" or so... Kind Regards.

Hi all! Yes, I did the Search thing and I only got Li'l confused; so I must start a New Thread in order to find the Right answer. My BumbleBeast has this Setup: Front Suspension: 4WD Subaru Shock absorbers Plus Ford Tempo Coil Springs. Rear Suspension: 4Runner Shock Absorbers plus Honda accord Coil Springs. (that makes a 2" Lift) Fifteen (15") inches Rims. (Details about my Suspension mods, could be Found here) So, The Rear became Taller than the Front... But Now I am about to install a SJR 2" Lift Kit for the Front of my Wagon, (More Details here) So my BumbleBeast will be on Level. The Question I Have is This: Which Size of Tire is the Maximum (Tall & Wide) I can Run on my 2" Lifted BumbleBeast Without trimming? Now it Runs unlifted on 205/60 R15. I'll Like to know which Tire sizes run on 15" rims, people who has 2" Lifts on their EA82 Subies. Kind Regards.
