  1. Here ya Go!: http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/pts/2680992020.html ER27 with EA82T pistons, recent rebuildt.
  2. For Metal Sheet Work, I Kindly suggest you to see This Writeup: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=126914 Have you think about a Power Steering Fail? I've seen the Tiny hose Blow and other Power Steering pump problems that Blows a huge amount of Oil to the Engine's Front... I don't know how the T-Belts can manage that: the Covers will keep a great part of the PS oil outside. Will the T-Belts Slip if they get Too oily? Kind Regards.
  3. Not a Rear Tempo Coil Springs, since the one in the Picture has a Tiny Turn that Mine's doesn't have at all... but Maybe a First gen Rear Tempo Springs, unless those are the same for the Second Gen Tempo, in that case; the Rear Coil Springs idea is dismissed. Yes, I'll Update that with the Fresh info.
  4. The USMB member 1whillary (Wayne Hillary) from Dunedin, New Zealand, Kindly sent me via e-mail, Pictures of his second gen Subaru Manatee: Which is the Most Beautiful Subaru Manatee I've ever Seen. Thank you Wayne for letting me Post your Pics, You're So Kind. Best Regards
  5. The Name of those Racing Subaru Cars, is MANATEE, is Still Written and can be Partially readed on this Pic: Just behind the Driver's place.
  6. Well... as I said: Could the salesman sold me the First Gen Tempo Springs and gave me the Wrong info about their Year? What I can do is Take one Strut out of my BumbleBeast and shoot some Photos of the Assembled Strut with the Tempo Coil Spring, so you could have a New Picture of it. Kind Regards.
  7. Oh my God! ... I had understood that you were going to return that springs to the store, since they were Different. The whole situation makes me feel so sad, I just wanted to Help...
  8. No, that is Not what I have. My Tempo Coil Springs has not that Tiny Turn at their end; My Tempo Coil Springs came with Same Width and almost the Same Thickness than the Old Stock EA82 ones, but a Little bit more thick. Also the Tempo ones have two more Turns of a Thinner Measurement than the Rest of the Coil. I don't know their name on English so maybe I'm Lost in Translation. The "Rubber Donuts" are some Round things shaped like Donuts that people Buy to gain some Tall on older / Weak Springs. Yes, Because those are Aftermarket. When I Did the ER27 Engine Swap, on Year 2000, the Subie was Too Low due to a mix from Over Weighted engine and Weak old Springs; So as First instance Solution, I Purchased a Pair of Donuts. Then those seemed to be Not enought to Handle the ER27 well... So I Traveled from my island to Capital City then, carring one of the Original Subaru Spring coils and by Comparison, I purchased the Tempo ones, because they had the Same Diameter than the Subaru ones but a Li'l bit more Thickness plus two turns more as explained above. I Removed the Rubber Donuts when I Swapped the Tempo Springs from my 2.7 (now unengined) Wagon to my EA82 BumbleBeast. I had not taken pics then, But I searched on my PC's Hard drive and Found an Age Old Photo of the Springs along the Rubber Donut mounted: I'm not Sure if the Coil Spring there is the Subaru or the Tempo... is a Very Old Photo.
  9. Thank You! ... ... I Really appreciate your Kind Words!
  10. I Really Like how the Old School Subaru Logos Look on that Legacy; it looks very Nice!
  11. Also: The EA82's with Two Row Radiators Run Cooler (usually around 1/4) than the EA82's with Single Row Radiators. (usually around 1/2) Kind Regards.
  12. I still Wonder why my Tempo Coil Springs were Not too Hard to install, They fitted right there without any cut and the car has Suspension Travel. I don't have Hydraulic Compressor neither... So there's Something wrong here. Maybe you were Right with your idea about the Salesman that might Gave me the Rear Coil Springs from the Tempo and told me those were from the Front... Or maybe the ones I obtained came from the First Gen Tempo; I have not enough information to Properly answer that, as I explained before. Really I Don't Like How your install looks now, the Springs Looks very much Forced. Let me Tell you that I installed the Tempo Springs on my Heavy Weighted 2.7 (ER27 engined) Wagon using Rubber Donuts!!! Of course, I Removed the Rubber Donuts when I installed them on my Weberized EA82 Wagon. So Definitely I don't believe that you Got the Same Tempo Springs that I Obtained.
  13. Again, This... ...is a Beautiful Picture of a Beautiful Subaru in a Beautiful Autumm Sunset Landscape, Just my Kind of Picture, I Like it! Kind Regards.
  14. Well, I Believe that two are for the A/C (Fan and Compressor's electric Clutch) and the other one could be for the "Third Eye" but I'm not Sure. The Best way to find out which Relay belongs to which electrical Stuff, has already been pointed here: I Hope this can Help... Kind Regards.
  15. Some info I Want to Share: Originally I Discovered that the Tempo's Coil Springs Work in EA82 Subarus, around year 2000, Because my 2.7 Wagon had the Heavy weighted ER27 engine, plus a Fiberglass / Metal sheet Reinforced Heavy Front Bumper; so I Needed something Stronger than the EA82's coil Springs. But it is interesting that since the damage my 2.7 wagon had (See Here) I Removed certain parts from it to make my EA82 Weberized Wagon (My BumbleBeast) a Better car with the Better parts from the Two; that includes the Tempo Springs. So, I Run my BumbleBeast Weberized EA82 with that Tempo Springs and I Never cutted a single inch from them. Also, I am about to install a SJR 2" Lift kit on my BumbleBeast. (as you can Read here) So I Kindly Suggest you to Try them uncutted first; if they don't satisfy your Needs, you Might cut them. Good Luck! Kind Regards.
  16. That's a Beautiful Lookin' Subie! Central America. Guatemala and Honduras are near the USA. The Caribbean islands also got them, but I've seen them with Right Hand Drive Steering wheel, as many of those islands are part of the British Commonwealth. Kind Regards.
  17. I Found a couple of Cellphone Pictures of the Subaru SRX Race Car, actual Look in a Garage:
  18. Thank you for your Kind Help! Kind Regards.
  19. Look at the Steerin' Wheel: Those people from Canada, obtained their Mini Subarus from England... Right Hand Drive. is Better idea to Take to the USA one of those from Latin America. Here in my Country there are Many Many (Old & New) Mini Subarus (Sambar, Domingo, Rex) with the Left Hand Drive, as USA. Pics of Some Mini Subarus in my Country: Old Subaru Sambar (My Wagon Behind) Subaru Domingo 4WD Subaru Sambar Pickup Subaru Rex Kind Regards.
  20. Oh my God! ... ... I Really Like that Photoshoped Picture, is Really Nice!
  21. Yes, Thank you. Please Let me Know how things Result. Besides me, Uberoo Used Ford Tempo Coil Springs Too, as you can see here: Maybe he could Post here the info about the Source of his Tempo's Coil Springs... PM Sent!
  22. Good Question!... I cannot answer it because as explained above, when I obtained the Tempo's Coil Springs for my Subie, those coil springs were Out from their car, the Vendor said the only information I got. Maybe it is a Fool Question but here it Goes: Have you already tried those Springs on the Subaru Shock absorbers? The Difference in Tall and turns is the Same I had when I Compared the Loyale ones against the Tempo ones, side by Side; the difference you might have could be just their diameter. Also, if they don't fit at all, maybe the guy at the Junk Yard sold me the Rear ones as you think... if so; I must correct the Writeup I done; so please I kindly ask you for feedback. Kind Regards.
  23. When I was Hunting for New coil Springs for my Loyale, I Took with me, one of the Old stock coil springs and went to search to The Local Junk Yards. By the way, the Local Junk Yards, called here "Yonkers", doesn't carry complete cars, they have classified parts areas such like: Doors' Area, Engines' Area, Seats' Area, transmissions' Area, etc... as you can see pictures ~► Here. I Searched among a Pile of Strut assemblies in the Suspensions' Area, comparing each coil to the one I had on my Hand, taken from my Subie; that way I Found by myself that the Tempo coil Springs looked almost identical to the Subaru ones, they had just two more Turns and a were li'l more thicker. Since I Found those Tempo Coil springs already taken outside their car, they only had a Mark done with white paint marker on them, that said: '94 Tempo. I Asked to the Junk Yard's vendor about their origin and he answered that he knows only what each part says on their marks.... So, Maybe you obtained a First Gen tempo coil springs... or the white marks written in the ones I purchased were Wrong, I don't know... Could you post Pics with both the Subaru and the Tempo coil spring that you obtained? Kind Regards. ► Edited to update the Web Link
  24. Key Words: That sounds to me as the "Tick of Death" sound like if your engine has a very Low Oil Pressure and / or is using a Monograde or thick oil. Could you let us know which kind of Oil is your Subie's engine Using? Maybe is time for a Engine internals cleanup. Kind Regards.
  25. Look for Pics & Part Numbers, Here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/106807-improved-shock-absorbers-and-spring-coils-on-loyales/ Kind Regards. ► Edited to update the Web Link
