  1. I have readed many complains about the subaru boxer diesel engine online: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=95177&page=6 So I Believe that those First Gen Subaru Boxer Diesels aren't reliable Yet. Kind Regards.
  2. Thank you for your Kind answer ... ... I always Run my weberized warrior from the Sea Level to a Maximum of 1,600 Meters above on the Mountain Highs... (around 5,250 Feet) ... but usually at the average of 1,000 Mts. (around 3,280 Feet)

  4. Many thanks to my friend Scott in Bellingham, for sending me the kit, you are very kind. Greetings and Blessings
  5. I wonder if I wrote something unreal ... well, never mind. I Wasn't trying to be Scientific accurate, all I was asking is: ...and my Question remains unanswered. Kind Regards.
  6. 155 on Both? that makes a Grand Total of 310 at Full Throttle, Mine Runs with 140 + 162 for a Grand Total of 302. They're Nearby but Could I Ask if your Subie Runs a Li'l bit Rich on Low (Primary) Stage? ... any Black Exhaust? Kind Regards.
  7. I'm So Sorry... I Can't, because I got rid of that Craptachi Carb and Swapped in a Weber instead, six years ago... But I'll Try to Search for a Picture. Kind Regards.
  8. Nice pictures of your Mighty Max, lookin' Good! Could I Ask what is the Meanin' of S.O.L. ? in Spanish, Sol means Sun. and so sorry to read that the Might max forums are Quiet as a Graveyard...
  9. Yes, You're Right; Leaf Springs. Those other Land Cruisers as the one you Posted on Post Nº 92: Are very Popular Here... Also in Two doors (Shorter) version, as the one you can see on the Photo album I Posted on Facebook. I Didn't knew that those aren't available in the U.S.A. Kind Regards.
  10. About the Boxer Diesel engine Performance, The Subaru XV Diesel came to Latin America since 2010, but it wasn't Lifted Yet: http://www.subaruxv.cl/ The Lifted one (New Version), will come in January 2012: http://www.autocity.com/novedades/subaru/xv/15-09-2011/index_novedad.html?cod=8985 I Believe one of the Reasons for the Delay of introducing the Boxer Diesel to the U.S.A. is the Many problems that Diesel engine has given, Many Premature Fails, as you can Read in this Forums: http://www.autocity.com/foros_coches_motos/verRespuestasMensaje.html?cod=201606&padre=201606&foro=386&offset=0&numero=20&marca=&categoria=&nombreForo=&offsetF=&orden Let me Translate a Couple of Posts from that Spanish Forums (using google online translator): Seems like the Problems they have are related to the Diesel engine Only... I Hope that Subaru will Refine it more soon. Kind Regards.
  11. As Promised: Here Goes one Picture of the Lifted Land Cruiser Wagon that belongs to my Friend, in front of my Bumble Beast! I Don't want to Hijack this Thread posting more pictures here, so I opened a New Album (4X4) on my Facebook account; anyone who want to see those many Pics of 4X4 and Honduran Off-Roading, feel free to add me as Friend, just say that you come from USMB! www.facebook.com/loyale27turbo My Friend, Mr. Castillo (The owner and Mechanic who does that lifts) told me that he Disassembled the Whole Suspension that originally got its Mounting points located on the Top of the Chassis, He Removed them from the top and Relocated them to the Bottom of the Chassis. So the Suspension Dropped a Long Way, Then he just Needed to make lenghtened Brake Lines plus few other minor things and Reassembled all together. That allows to Run Larger Rims and Tires. Please let me Know what do you think about. Kind Regards.
  12. Are you Sure that those comes already Filled with Fresh Grease? I Don't know the Source of your Axles, but if they are Old Stock, maybe the Grease on them had Dried out... Six months of Life is a Premature Fail, Specially for the inner ones. Kind Regards.
  13. Thank you so Much for the Link, you're So Kind. But I can't bring one from there because Shipping Costs for a Complete compressor unit are more than Twice the Compressor cost itself, so I Preffer to find a Suitable Replacement, or a Rebuild Kit for Mine. Kind Regards.
  14. No fusible box under the Hood in Loyales, Just Fusible Links... The Fusible Box is in the Driver's Side, under the Dash. Kind Regards.
  15. Which Kind of Grease are you Usin' on that C.V. Joints? I Have some useful Ideas for Longer C.V. Joints Life, posted here: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=118248 Kind Regards.
  16. When you did the SPFi Swap on the New Engine, have you used the Original Subaru intake Gaskets or aftermarket ones? Aftermarket ones are Crappy and trend to fail... Have you done a Compression Test on your engine? ... What Numbers it Give? Kind Regards.
  17. Well... I Believe that 10W~30 is Thin oil for an Old Engine... But you have Cool Climate after all. I Kindly suggest to do an engine Clean and Switch to 15W~40 Oil. (I Run mine with 20W~50 but I Live in the Caribbean Tropics) Kind Regards.
  18. The Idle Adjustment screw is on the Accelerator Cable's Plate and the Fuel Mixture screw is nearby, in front of the Carb. Is just a Screw that uses a plane Screwdriver, you must turn it Slowly on and off untill the Engine becomes to idle smooth, without Shaking... but Be Careful to not unscrew it all from the carb. Kind Regards.
  19. You're Right Jacob... I Forgot it was a Brat and I Wrote thinking about the Loyale... Sorry. Could I Ask if those Brats use a Pressure Regulator / Distribuitor, usually Shaped as a "Tee" on the Line that goes from the Front Wheel to the Rear Wheel? If so, it Might be Clogged... Just an Idea. Kind Regards.
  20. Yes, Primary and Secondary. My Redline-Weber kit (K731) Came Jetted for the EA82 with Both 140, but after Many Tests I let the Carb to Stay with 140 on Primary and I Changed the Secondary to 162, for Optimum performance and that's somehow the Top that carb allows to Run on the EA82 before the mixture turns Too rich... ...But here the Cars run without emmission's control Stuff. (No Cat, etc...) More info on Post Nº 4 of This Thread: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=74206 Kind Regards.
  21. Thank you very much for your kind words, guys! I Really appreciate your nice comments. Some years ago, the Hill Holder's Check Valve, located under the Master Cylinder developed a Leak, and I couldn't find the proper replacement, nor a rebuild kit here in Honduras. So, my Lazy solution was to simply detach the Hill Holder's cable, which is the one that comes from the Clutch Fork to said Check Valve, and it has Not leaked a single drop since then. In case your Subie has such feature, you must be Aware that if you unhook the Cable, the Return Spring for the Clutch Fork is Built in the Check Valve's Mechanism; so you Shall place a Return Spring at the Clutch Fork, to avoid premature Wear from the Clutch. There is a Placement for that Return Spring there, because not all EA82's featured Hill Holder, so you can go to your Nearest Subaru Dealer, and obtain the exact Spring for the application, which is Cheap. To place the Return Spring at the Clutch Fork... ...Requires that you first, remove the Bracket for the Hill Holder's Cable Now I am Looking for a "T" to Erase the Hill Holder's Check Valve, ~► Here Feel free to comment regarding the Hill Holder, at that Discussion Thread. Kind Regards.
  22. Lucky You... Here in my Country, to find a Subaru Part became somehow a Nightmare: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=122189
