  1. Also, While I Was on the Dealer's Store, I Found a Misspelled Word on one Subaru Part: However, The Word: "Cariper" Sounds more Japanese after all ... ...
  2. Also included the Triangular Shaped Pins, that Press the Brake Piston when the e-Brake Handle is Pulled.
  3. Since I Didn't obtained a Legacy Calipers onto the EA82 Clamps, I Decided to Stay with the EA Calipers, so I First Tried to Renew them to the Almost Brand New Condition, and I Obtained This: Complete Set to Rebuild both Front Calipers.
  4. Solved! Finally, after Seeking a Solution for my Subie's Front Brakes and how to get Rid of the Horrid failing Front e-Brake System, which was the Cause of the Problems, I Found the Solution.
  5. Now the Local Subaru Dealer is about to Dissapear! ... Along the Subaru Support & Original Parts; as you can Read here: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=122189
  6. The Dealer's Salesman Tried to Sell me the Whole Brand New Caliper for my Wagon, but it was very Expensive...
  7. Pictures of the Heads are Highly Recommended. Kind Regards.
  8. The New Legacy-Based Impreza... I Don't really Like it too Much, Because it looks Somehow like almost every other New Car... ...I Know that Mechanically is more Refined... ...But Still it and the New Legacy has some Design Fails... ...Like This: I Really Dislike those Mini Glass Patches, 'cos I Consider 'em like Design Fails... I Really Like the Smooth Glass Area Design of the Older Generations... Kind Regards.
  9. Well... Subaru Officially Named its Brand New Rear Wheel Drive Coupe as: More info, Here: http://www.autoblog.com/2011/09/06/latest-subaru-brz-prototype-comes-into-view/
  10. Those are Wonderful Pictures for Sure! Thank you for Sharing... I would really Love to be there too... Kind Regards.
  11. That sounds like your Engine is Singin' the T.O.D. (Tick of Death) Song... also it sounds like it might have a Worn Head Gasket. The Hydro Lifters' Noise Known as T.O.D. is Usually due to an Oil Pump Seal's Failure (The Mickey-Mouse Shaped Seal trend to be Sucked and lets Air to go inside Oil) Also the Overheating is Usually Related to Bad Head Gaskets. But There's a Chance that the T.O.D. Could be due to Oil with too much Sludge & Dirt, so it doesn't Flow as it is intended. So I Kindly Suggest you to do a Complete Engine internals' Cleansing, using Seafoam, Then Replace your Subie's Old Oil and Filter; also I Suggest you to do a Radiator Flush & Clean up too. Do a Search on the Forums for More info, as all this has been Already posted in the past. Kind Regards.
  12. Nope, Let me Explain: Since the Damage that had my "Weekend Warrior" Subie, I Started to Work to improve my "Everyday Warrior" Subie and I Took some parts from that one. Since I Live Far Away home, I Don't have some of the Required Tools to do certain Jobs, so I Ask some Friends who have a Semi-Professional Car Repair Shop, to Use their Tools and Hardware, and sometimes they Help me to Successfully Finish the Repairs / Jobs \ Projects I Make. Also I've been Working on Non-Subaru Projects... Recently I Finished to Swap a Complete Toyota 22R Engine + Drivetrain on a Chevrolet Blazer, which was a Gas Hungry V6 Automatic Nightmare: But I Post those on Other Forums; in example, Also I did an Engine Swap on my Wife's 2000 Kia Sephia, which Now Runs with a 2003 Kia Spectra Engine and I Used the Original Sephia's intake & Exhaust Manyfolds to use the same EFi Stuff & Computer, etc... even when a Kia Technician Told me that it was impossible to Do: You can Read further here: http://www.kia-forums.com/2g-1998-2001-sephia/66863-2000-kia-sephia-engine-replacement-info.html (Here in my Country to do Weird Swaps is "Normal" and very Common, people trend to do things that they believe will improve the Reliability of their Cars. As this Nice Rear Wheel Drive Subaru Loyale Sedan, with a Toyota's engine and Solid axle RWD + Leaf Springs: Nice!) So Yes... I Could Fabricate the Tubes to do my Own Front Lift Suspension but I Have Two Problems: Limited access to Tools / Hardware. No Time to do the Needed Tests, and to Assemble / Disassemble many times untill Success. So the Solution for me was to Find the Way to Send the Total Amount for a 2" Lift Kit for the Front of my Wagon to a Professional, So I only Need to install it Once. I Purchased the Front 2" Lift Kit to a Great Friend which is USMB Member too, he will send it to me and it will include the Needed Hardware to Drop the Engine's Crossmember 1", so the Axles will remain close to their "Natural Angle". Kind Regards.
  13. I am Glad that you Liked one of my Wagons, The "Weekend Warrior", but Sadly that one isn't in good Shape for Now, as I Explained here: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=117604 So Now I Need the Front 2" Lift for my "Everyday Warrior", which Was the White Wagon that could be Seen on my Public Profile's Photos (Just Click on my Avatar) Which I Lifted the Rear Using my Suspension Mods, as I Explained Here: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=110546 Please, take your Time to Review Those threads, as long as you can; so you will Fully understand the Situation.
  14. I Agree, That's my Experience too. That noise is Usually done by Worn Bearings and I'm almost Sure that you'll Notice when you take 'em out that they had their Grease gone as Dry Mud since long time ago... Kind Regards.
  15. I Like your Subies Tom, They Look Very Nice! Could I Ask you... ...about Those Foreign License Plates? ... Are you Allowed to Run your Subie just with Those? Sharing info: More than 60% of the Vehicles Runnin' here, came from USA as we are very Near and some people trend to Keep their Original USA License Plates, placed aside the Local License Plates, as it isn't against Law to have another one(s) if your Car has the Legal ones in the Right Place, the others are considered "Ornaments" Somehow... Kind Regards.
  16. Since Resurecting Old Threads is the Mood here, I will Resurect this one, Just to Say that My Old Liftin' Problem is: Solved! Please Follow the Link Below to the New Thread... ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/113907-lookin-for-a-front-lil-lift/?p=1032972 Kind Regards. ► Edited to Update Web Links and add Tags for the New USMB Search System. Thread Closed!
  17. Yes. Yes, the Situation on my Country is Very Different and I Really trend to Drive mostly by Night. Here Huge Rainstorms and Bad Roads combined with almost every other incoming car with Blinding H.I.D.'s makes me Choose to Put those H.I.D.'s on my Wagon. But the Ones I Choosed Doesn't have the Blueish Colour and they Have a Real Working Low Beam that Doesn't Hit the incoming Driver's eyes as the other Cheap H.I.D. conversion Kits Does. Please: Notice the Difference Between Low & High Beams in the Same Place: Low Beams: High Beams: Kind Regards.
  18. I Have a .pdf File about the EndWrench's Review of the Subaru EJ Engines, you can Download it by Doing a Click on my Avatar and you'll see it on the List of Manuals I Posted "Ready to Download" on my USMB's Public Profile. Please: Let me Know what do you Think about that Endwrech's EJ Engine Review. Kind Regards.
  19. The Electrical problem you Described is Related to a Bad Grounding... so I Kindly Suggest to do one of this Two things: Remove the Grounding Wires from all its Terminals, Clean Both Surfaces and reinstall. Run a New Parallel Ground Wire. I Did Both Long Time Ago... I Hope this can Help, Good Luck! Kind Regards.
  20. Central America ... ... and Not so Rural! ... ... See: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=90606&page=8 Well, the 55W / 5000K Kit I have on my Wagon is Bi-Xenon, so it has Low Beam with an extremly Low & Sharp Cutoff and High Beam, wich makes think to the Driver / Passenger that you're Driving Behind a Stadium Reflector Lights. For my Many Many Rural / Off Road Trips (Almost every Weekend) that High Beam has Saved my Life at least two Times, once it was a Black Horse crossing the Road Side by Side, the other time it was a Bridge that just Fell off from one side and I am more than Sure that Driving with the Original Halogens I wouldn't noticed that on time to preven a Huge Fat Crash. I Know that is Hard to Believe how those H.I.D.'s Perform on Real Life but there is another USMB Member, Mark (SUPERU) which is a Great Friend, he came from USA to my Li'l Country some time ago and I took Him to a Night Ride on my Subie across the Capital City and a Mountain nearby; he Liked how those H.I.D.'s performed on my Wagon. (Check Post Nº 24 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=93529&page=3 ) You can Ask him about How the Low Beam has a Sharp edge that Doesn't Disturb the incoming Drivers' eyes. (High Beam is Amazing Long Reaching) That was my First Concern when I Obtained that H.I.D.'s = Safety. Kind Regards.
  21. Yes, Swap a Manual Transmission there; Also a Better Carburetor will Help but the Gas Eater is the Automatic Trans for Sure. Kind Regards.
