  1. Seems to be Fixable... and seems like it Worth it! Nice Rims has on the rear.
  2. Me Too! ... Your Subie illuminates Great with Those H.I.D.'s I Run mine with a Yellowish 5000K and 55W Because I Travel too much during Night times and here in my Crazy Country our Roads are pretty Bad, Also here Rains 2/3 of the Year. Plus certain animals might cross the Road without notice, like Cows, Horses, etc... Blueish Lights' illumination trend to be "Eaten" by Wet Pavements. I Wanted More illumination 'cos it makes my Night Trips Safer... I'll Never go Back to Halogens anymore. Kind Regards.
  3. Two Things: That "Horrible Cutoff" is in part due to the Camera's sensibility to the illuminated Darkness of the Night while Taking the Picture without Flash and using a Very Low Speed Exposure. That Special H.I.D. Kit I Used is intended to Retrofit it to the Subaru's Headlamp's Mirrors, and believe me: it isn't any Cheap at all. So, let me Tell you that the Pics aren't giving the Real Idea; only if you take a Ride on my Subie you'll Understand. Kind Regards.
  4. ...well, Mine too; Specially since the Weber Swap; So there's Something Wrong with that Subie. Maybe a Tune-Up can help... I Mean New Spark Plugs, set the Timing Right, Check for Worn Vacuum Hoses, etc... Kind Regards.
  5. Thank you for your Kind Answer... ...it Looks Even Nicer Now!!! Kind Regards.
  6. Thank you for your Kind Answer... Best Regards.
  7. ...Some old Oil Sludge went to the Leakin' area and Clogged its Way out?
  8. it Looks Wonderful! Could I Ask more info about the Weber Air Filter Adaptor? Kind Regards.
  9. Looks Nice & Clean! ... I Like it! Coud I Ask more info about the Carburetor and the Air Filter? Kind Regards.
  10. Those Engines Needs to be Accelerated for long time periods in order to Sustain a High Oil Pressure for enough time to Fill the Hydro lifters; Specially if those had dirt inside. If your EA82 was singin' the "T.O.D." Song for long time, then those Hydro lifters could be Worn enough to make that noise come back again soon, as pressure goes down... then it can dissappear again on Trips... and so on... Kind Regards.
  11. What about a Thick cover of Anti-Gravel Paint? http://www.emulzer.com.tr/emulzer/urunler.php?cat=2&lang=eng&id=62 That not only will help as an Anti-Rust but also will help to isolates noises. Here in my Country is Widely used on Car's interiors. I Have used it on my Wagons and my Wife's Kia. Kind Regards.
  12. I must say Yes. I Used it on those kind of Threads.
  13. Done! I Really Like this Site and the Family of Friends here! ... I Hope I will continue Helping much more. Kind Regards.
  14. Very Nice Trike, I Like it! ... ... also I Like the Model! The EA81 Already came with a Weber Carb, That So Nice!!! I Really want to Know how does the Performace Change with the EA81, keep us Posted! Kind Regards.
  15. The Whole Front Bumper only has Four Screws that Attach it to the Car's Frame, Two each side. Just Look the Side of the Frame that Faces each engine Head's Cover and you'll find Two Holes each side. if you unbolt those Screws, be sure to Disconnect each side Marker Light on the Bumper Before Sliding it out. Kind Regards.
  16. I Believe Not, but if the "Click" Sounds came from around That Area, let me ask This: Have you Checked for Worn Fusible Links? Also there could be (Hiding Around) a Worn Relay, Did your subie has had an Alarm? Kind Regards.
  17. Well... No Snow here at All, but Huge Rainstorms. I Use These: Those 18" Curvy Silicone Wipers Works very Smooth. Kind Regards.
  18. Yes, you Can't due to the Fact that the Whole Headlamp is a one piece unit, No disassemble is Possible. About Fixing the Bumper... Have you ever Tried the FiberGlass? Look Here, it could be Helpful: http://ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=75156 Kind Regards.
  19. Yes, is a Non interference Engine, also if you're Completely Sure that anything has Moved from its Position before you removed the T-Belts, I Believe that you can put them back again, very carefully to not move anything and it should be Fine. Kind Regards.
  20. Wonderful Job, I Really Like what you are Doing to that Subie, it Looks Really Nice that I Can't Wait to see the Final Look! The 3.889 Rear LSD Differential Ratio is done by nine pinion gears and thirtyfive ring gears, (9/35) isn't it? Could you post more photos of that Differential? Kind Regards.
  21. I Kindly Suggest to Start with a Complete Flush and AT Fluid Change, and include a Pint of "Trans-Medic" ATF Additive, it should make that Transmission to Shift smoother after the first 100 Miles of Normal Driving with the New AT Fluid + the Said Additive. Good Luck!
  22. GD is absolutely Right. I Forgot to Explain that I Was Writing about the Carbureted Versions of the EA82, lowering the Operating temps won't help on the Fuel injected ones; instead, it will cause Malfunctions on those, as GD explained. Well... Yes! Somehow, Let me Explain: We have hot climates almost the 70% of the Year, when Temperature reaches nearby the 40º C (Around 104º F? I'm not Sure about the Temp Conversion 'cos we Use ºCelcious only) and just from November to January the Temperature Lowers nearby the 10º C (Around 50º F?) So Keeping an Old Carbureted EA82 Runnin' Cooler without Thermostat will Help it to prevent from Overheating (Those Trend to Overheat easily here, Specially if you Run the A/C on Traffic Jams for Long Periods of Time, and That's Usual on the Main Cities) so a cooler runnin' EA82 will end in Less Head Gaskets Changed; Also a Cooler Operating Carburetor is Better; even to prevent Fuel from Boiling. Also, here isn't needed the Catalitic Converter, so a Cooler exhaust isn't a Problem. Kind Regards.
